“Hosts couldn’t have been nicer , C’est le Meilleur !”

Absolutely amazing holiday , lovely lodge set in lovely garden surroundings with a pool & nice pool area to sit in . Hot tub & sauna , Logde itself was really nice comfy bed nice shower and bathroom, kitchenette , lodge looked out onto pool area , really well kept gardens, but most of all Anne-Sophie & her husband are wonderful, so welcoming & helpful , absolutely charming , food is also fab , delicious and good value for money . Doussard is a nice village on the edge of the lake , but you will need booked or transport if you wish to go into Annecy town . We had an amazing holiday , couldn’t have wished for more , will be recommending to friends , and we will definitely be visiting again !

We loved it. The rooms are beautifully decorated – such attention to detail! The sauna and Nordic bath are super relaxing and the food (we stayed for dinner and breakfast) sublime. I’d go out of my way to go again!

My husband and I had a beautiful stay at Anne-Sophie’s lodge over the last few days. The food (breakfast and dinner) was delicious, Anne-Sophie gave great recommendations on things to do locally, the Nordic bath and sauna were the perfect way to finish the days and the room and entire lodge was gorgeous! Very well thought out and it’s clear a lot of love and care goes into the place 🥰

The hostess Anne Sophie was so lovely. She made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was amazing. We also really enjoyed the Nordic bath and sauna. The cabin we stayed in was very cute and comfortable. There were so many thoughtful little touches.

Absolutely everything . The property is beautiful . It is quirky, classy and tastefully decorated. Ann Sophie has thought of everything with lots of little extras in the rooms . The breakfast was slightly different each morning we stayed( 3 nights) and the attention to detail was lovely . We ate one evening and the homemade meal was beautiful and excellent value for money . We also made use of the sauna/ steam hot tub again which was an excellent touch .

We loved everything about this place, the host was very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. So many lovely touches, delicious and varied breakfast, fresh flowers on the meal table, the gardens were beautiful, the pool area was relaxing and we had access to a sauna and hot tub. The room was very comfortable and had a balcony, it was tastefully decorated and good quality toiletries included in the bathroom. We opted to have an evening meal on one occasion (offered 3 times each week if desired) The host was happy to include our family who were staying at a local campsite and the table was set up in the fabulous patio area. We had a 3 course dinner with an aperitif, it was absolutely delicious. The price was very reasonable. The host ensured this was a special occasion for us which we really appreciated. As we left, the host gave us a little gift each. We highly recommend Hygge Lodge, the attention to detail throughout was amazing.

“An oasis between the lake and the mountains”

Hygge Lodge is an oasis! So much attention and detail has gone into each area - from the gardens, the pool area and the rooms to make a stay here completely reviving and an absolute joy. The breakfast was delicious - a delightful selection that kept us going all day. We were lucky to fit in two dinners at the lodge - both our favourite evenings! The lodge is so close to the lake and the mountains, we ran out of time for all the things we wanted to do - we’ll need to go back for sure!

Very friendly and helpful owner, who made lovely meals and spoke excellent English. Very comfortable and well-equipped room. Location was very accessible by car (or bike if we'd had one). A great location for touring the area. Excellent value for money.

Loved everything about Hygge Lodge. Set in a lovely location with stunning views of the mountains and close to the lake. This truly is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Anne-Sophie has considered every detail and the rooms are very comfortable but with a very special feel. The grounds are wonderful with a lovely pool, Nordic bath and sauna. We booked a meal at the property which was absolutely wonderful-incredibly tasty and beautifully presented. We would recommend bike hire as this is an easy and wonderful way to see the lake, surrounding villages and of course Annecy itself. There is a lovely restaurant for lunch and dinner literally 5 minutes walk away and the village centre is 20 mins. This was a truly wonderful stay and we will definitely be returning.

Great location and amenities . The chalet had everything you needed. The host is very friendly and extremely helpful . The breakfasts were exceptional and kept us full all morning . We booked the evening meal which was delicious

The lodges are great, they're quiet, very comfortable and set in a lovely garden with small pool. The owner provided a very warm welcome and ensured we had a great stay, reserving tables in restaurants and providing transport / area information. Breakfast is hearty home-style continental with far more food than could be eaten 10/10

It was very nice. Anne Sophie is doing everything to make you feel comfortable. Breakfast and table d'hôtes was very good. Location is good. I would reccomend this accomodation!

“It really is hygge.”

You could really tell that the owner put a lot of love and attention to everything. It really is ‘hygge’! Everything is in the right place, it’s super cozy and really comfortable. Beautiful garden too. From the first second we were there we felt welcome and at home. Just perfect!
