Stone Cellars Guesthouse is set in restored historical vaulted cellars on the lower end of Ishac Residence, a late 19th century house with traditional Mediterranean architecture situated in a tranquil setting. Free private parking is available on site. All rooms feature an en suite bathroom fitted with a shower. Each offers a private entrance, sitting area and kitchenette. It was a beautifully located and wonderfully preserved old Lebanese home where we slept in the beautiful architecture of an old home's cellar. The place was perfectly maintained and we felt like we were frozen in time! My parents and I were craving a retreat from Beirut, and this exceeded our expectations. Michelle welcomed us and showed us around his ancestors' home. We were so thrilled with the architecture and location, and his recommendation for dinner was exceptional. If you're looking for a local, historical experience of this beautiful Lebanese mountain town, stay here!

The place is so beautiful and peaceful. The guest amenities were over the top! The house has a beautiful story and just a different vibe. The host was very welcoming as well 🤩 definitely recommended, and would go back there again.

“A beautiful and historical place to stay”
Such a beautifully converted family house, with a landscaped garden and lots of nice touches - including a fridge stocked with fruit and snacks on arrival. Wonderful to hear the family history and our room had books about the local area. The Bella Douma cafe is just down the road and offers really delicious manakeesh.
