Overview
Caravan Serai in Marrakech features rooms and suites with spacious private terraces. Some suites offer a private swimming pool and all are decorated in a refined traditional Moroccan style. This Dar or traditional Arab dwelling has interior courtyards, terraces and a garden lined with beautiful Jacaranda trees. All of the rooms are set around the central pool of Caravan Serai. The hammam and spa, which includes a sauna, at Caravan Serai is available for guests. Optional massage treatments are available upon request. The restaurant serves local and traditional cuisine, and room service is available. The bar offers a range of drinks including traditional Moroccan tea.

The staff were all friendly and welcoming, and helped with so many details and kind touches - from organising taxis and a balloon ride to delivering food to our room to putting rose petals on the bed! The place is wonderful - the unique and tasteful decor, the surprising rooms, the generous bathroom size, comfortable beds and gorgeous pool. We had the Majorelle suite and I highly recommmend it - it has a private plunge pool which is so relaxing after a hot day, and really felt like our own private oasis. We saw the other rooms though and I think they each have real personality and charm and you would be happy in any of them. There is a bar and restaurant open all day which is so convenient. Nice touches like a coffee machine in the room is a great start to the day. We loved the garden and the resident cats and tortoises ! We extended our stay by a night too.

“If tired of modern hotel chains and yearn for something sublimely different..its here!!”
We had been twice before nearly 20 years ago and it held special memories....feared it may not live up to these but was as romantic, atmospheric and well run as before......the pictures ,whilst impressive, don't capture the full magic of the place The staff are terrific, well motivated and friendly.....a little 20 mins from Marrakech but a serenely quiet place to unwind after any excursions. If you like something out of the ordinary and tired to modern hotel chains......this will amaze you

“Disappointed! No where near its previous levels”

“Hotel with more cats than guests”
I came 24 years ago and wanted to come back. It’s still beautiful but needs a bit of renovating . The staff is very nice and friendly.

The bedroom was nice but the tv didn’t work very well. No microwave or coffee machine.

The staff was really friendly. Restaurant also quiet nice, with good local food. The facilities are traditional. Different if you compare with european standard but very nice for the local context.

“Strongly I recommend if you want to fully rest and relax”
Pool cleaned on daily bases and it was spot on. Crystal clean water. In October temperature was perfect when outside was 33 deg. Breakfast simple, but big enough and fulfilling till lunch. Really good home made dinner dishes. For cats lover, this is right place

“Peace and quiet.”
I stayed here 20 years ago, and it is still a stunningly beautiful building. It is quiet and tranquil, perfect place to escape but with a shuttle if you want to go Into Marrakesh. The Hammam is great also.

Stunning renovation. Authentic. So quiet & calm. Great pool. Big rooms & lots of outdoor relaxation spots to choose from. It’s a few km out of city & on edge of quiet village…it’s a place for a few days of total relaxing!

Lovely well thought out design- id like to meet the architect & interior designer. Everything you need on site. Slightly difficult to find as another hotel in town with same name.
