“A stay in the middle of nature.”

Stephany was a very hospitable host. We liked the big veranda with hammocks outside our room. The kitchen was the best equipped of anywhere we stayed.

“Looking for wildlife near the nationalpark”

The location was great for our purpose (wildlife). There are some trails nearby, just in front of the national park, where you can look for animals like frogs and reptiles. The kitchen has everything you need. You can book guided tours with one of the hosts — they are very friendly and helpful.

I had a fantastic stay! Kerley and Stefanny were such amazing hosts - so kind and helpful. Kerley is an incredible guide, he notices everything and have such extensive knowledge. Thank you for a great time and experiencing so much incredible nature.

Loved the authentic accommodation. On the doorstep to all the nature and wildlife you dream of.Kerley and family were wonderful hosts and are passionate about what they do.Very good value, bedrooms were clean with a simple ensuite bathroom but you had everything you needed.The kitchen was very impressive so it was very easy to prepare your own food.if you wanted to..Loved the verandah .We went on bird trips with Kerley, and he looked after us really well.Got some amazing birds and animals and learned plenty from him

“We really enjoyed our stay in Dos Brazos and El Manantial is an ideal place to stay.”

Basic accommodation at a very reasonable price. The rooms are fairly small, but clean and the beds are comfortable. There is no hot water in the shower, but you don't need it. It is so warm that regular cool showers are a pleasure. The rooms do have aircon and a fan so you can sleep quite comfortably at night. No meals are provided, but there is a large, shared kitchen with everything you need and a couple of small stores within a 2 minute walk that sell all the basics. One of them claims to offer meals and has a table outside. We didn't try it, but took the easy 20 minute walk to the small restaurant at the Amazonita Ecolodge, where the proprietor Zulay offers a range of good home cooking with beer and non-alcoholic drinks at quite reasonable prices. Kerley and Steffany who look after the accommodation are friendly and helpful. They are also licensed guides and offer a range of tours. The night walk and bird watching tours are particularly good and not too expensive. Dos Brazos is a quiet community with a village atmosphere and friendly people, ideally located to explore the Osa Peninsula and Corcovado National Park. Easier if you have a car, but not essential (we didn't).

Kitchenette

We stayed 4 nights at the end of june in el manantial and had a really good stay. The cabina has air-con, what was great, it is clean and had enough space for our little family. It is located  in the center of Dos Brazos near to the school, tourism office and a little shop (maybe you better should bring fresh veggies or fruits from Puerto Jimenez). We did some hikes in Bolita Rainforest and booked a night hiking with Kerley, we saw a lot of animals - we recommend both!

“Great place and tour.”

We stayed two nights at the location and it was very pleasent. The room was simple and clean. We slept well with AC and used the kitchen for cooking. It had everything we needed. The porch is cosy and we saw two Aras in the garden and plenty of other birds. We also did a two day tour with Kerley to la Sirena. It was an exceptional experience in the national park. He is a great guy and a very good gide. He is really pationate about his job and it was very nice talking wih him. We highly recommend staying and doing a tour with him. Super kitchen equipment! Has everything you need. The hosts are very uncomplicated, friendly and warm. In the middle of nature and close to the national park.

“It was ok”

Very friendly staff Close to Corcovado National Park Price for room (But only at first glance as there are more costs to be added, therefore rather recommend to stay in an accomodation in Puerto Jiménez) Towels included

Ideal for having a different experience: out in the forest in a miner's village. Nice shared kitchen and patio. The host of the restaurant "la amazonita" was very nice and have us Lost of information for treks in the Woods.

great place clean ! and Kerley and his wife are so nice !! he were our guide in the parc and it were incredible there is a stop in his mother’s farm to eat fruits and drink coffee!! just perfect place non-touristic!!

The owner was super friendly plus an excellent guide both for Corcovado and nearby Bolita rainforest!

We really enjoyed our stay! The family is super friendly and helpful and the area is very beautiful. Everything is clean and cosy, well equiped kitchen. We were sorry we only stayed one night!

The fully equipped and extremely big kitchen is great! Rooms and terrace are also nice, clean and big. The owner family is so friendly and helpful. The owner Kerley is an english speaking guide for Corcovado and we had a great time with him there!
