De Watertoren is set in a classic watertower on the edge of Dordrecht. It has an on-site restaurant with large terrace and offers modern rooms with luxury beds and views of the surrounding area. The lady was welcoming, the position of the water tower just outside the town made it easy to find and park. The room was very clean and comfortable, the view of farmland with birds flying below was intriguing. Restaurants in the nearby town were excellent.

Breakfast was lovely, room comfortable. Beds were comfortable enough. Dinner at the restaurant was also very enjoyable, good menu! Lookout from the top of the tower was great!

“Interesting hotel well placed for riding east in the direction of Arnhem etc”
Very interesting hotel built in a converted water tower, Bike had to left outside in the their car park but the hotel is rural and this seemed safe enoungh with locks. Hotel is close to ferry for riding in Gorinchem direction. Evening meal and breakfast were very good

“Interesting stay in the Dordrecht Water Tower”
This was just a one-day stop on our way back to the UK via the Rotterdam to Hull ferry. We wished to visit Rotterdam before the ferry home and used Dordrecht as our base, taking the train into the city. It would be fair to describe our hotel as quirky, using the architecture of the Water Tower to great effect. Our room was fine, plenty of room with two chairs, which you don't often get in an hotel, and a comfortable bed. The shower was fine. We had a meal in the restaurant when we arrived and this was excellent. We also enjoyed our breakfast. Our hostess was very helpful and welcoming.
