The hosts were very accommodating and generous. They had great local knowledge and gave help tips and recommendations. For breakfast was superb. Wide selection of food and very generous portions. We were able to make great lunches from the breakfast offering as well.

“Great B&B in a great city”

It was in a great location right near the centre of town but in a peaceful residential road. The guest bedroom and bathroom were a good size with access to a small rear private garden and a kitchen to enable you to make tea/coffee etc The bed was large and comfortable. Everything had been thought about - dressing gowns, toiletries, smart TV with Netflix access, drinks, snacks available to buy. The breakfast was outstanding with a lovely variety of food all delivered to the bedroom. The hosts Cor and Letty live upstairs so the accommodation was quite separate allowing for privacy. They were delightful and so accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay and thought Dordrecht was a really wonderful place.

We travelled to Dordrecht by train from Amsterdam. The Arthouse is an easy 10-15 minute walk from Dordrecht train station. Cor & Lettie were excellent hosts giving us helpful advice about Dordrecht, good restaurants and modes of transport. The waterbus to Rotterdam, recommended by Lettie, was a great experience! As other reviewees have stated, the breakfasts provided are works of art! Beautifully presented and very tasty. There was enough food left after breakfast for us to make a small snack for lunch to take out with us. The beds are very comfortable and the room is very nicely furnished with comfy chairs, a table to eat at and a very useful kitchenette with all necessary implements if required. The en-suite bathroom is spotless and very well appointed. Though a little on the pricey side, we would have no hesitation in recommending The Arthouse and would definitely stay there again if ever revisiting Dordrecht.

From the initial contact to the goodbyes, we were made to feel most welcome and comfortable. The spacious, airy room, access to the delightful garden and a kitchenette were ideal for our time in and around Dordrecht. Lots of thoughtful, personal touches and a fantastic breakfast (far more than we're used to) all contributed to a very happy stay in a lovely town. Many thanks to Letty and Cor, and I hope we meet again.
