“Charming Family Stay with Excellent Staff”
We had a wonderful stay at this charming, family-friendly hotel located in a lovely area. The facilities were great and very well suited for families, which made our visit comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were exceptional; friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed.

“Great value Alpine-style hotel, very suitable for families.”
We stayed here as a family, a father with a 9-year-old son, and really enjoyed our stay. The room was well sized for two people with ski equipment, with plenty of storage. The bed was comfortable, heating worked perfectly, and everything was very clean. Soundproofing was good overall: some noise from the hallway, but nothing from neighboring rooms. Breakfast and dinner are served as buffets. The selection is not very large, but the quality is good. Even our picky eater enjoyed the food, at one point calling the french fries “the greatest in the world” and the pancakes “the second best after mum’s”. A big plus is that each room has its own reserved table, which makes meals calm and easy, especially with children. Buffet dinner is EUR 20 for adults and EUR 10 for kids. It has to be ordered in advance (when you arrive or after the first breakfast at the reception desk). Staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick, and check-out took a few extra minutes due to many departures, but nothing problematic. There is a ski storage room in the basement, and indoor play options for kids. The wellness area includes a large jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. It is included in the room price, only the bathrobe had to be paid separately (we did not bring our own, EUR 5 per person), small towels and bigger sheets are available in the wellness. The location is beautiful. There is a small slope in front of the hotel, great for walking up or sledding (there is a small lift, but was not operating). The main ski slopes are only about two minutes away by car. Parking near the slopes can be tricky on weekends, but we found space at the nearby free parking (the paid was full at 9 AM on Saturday). A nice extra of the hotel is the small enclosed porch next to the entrance, overlooking the slope, perfect for enjoying a mulled wine. Overall, this is a comfortable, family-friendly hotel with excellent value for money. We will happily return.

“FANTASTIC”
Fantastic and ever so cute hotel keeping original features, friendly staff and their almost family approach, gorgeous surroundings, great location near everything nearby, walking distance to restaurants, ski slopes, you can do lovely walks in beautiful place of Donovaly and forests if you can't ski (like me), great breakfast in the hotel, huge wellness, just superb altogether!! I felt like a princess in a castle :) Loved it and surely I'll be back!! THANK YOU! :)

“Great place, but strange approach to do business”
overall - location is close to ski slopes; very tasty breakfast; available bar and quite good condition in rooms. On top - at Saturday evening hotel had mini concert for everyone (that was real fun)

“Excellent for a couple of days skiing”
Very close to the slopes, excellent price value ratio, well-equipped bathroom. Personally I loved that the hotel doesn’t implement this nowadays standard neutral room design. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Excellent location, quiet, peaceful place. Cozy rooms. Great wellness facility. We liked the breakfast buffet, too. Staff was kind and helpful. We booked 2 rooms, both with balcony, we receiced one without, but upon complaint, the problem was swiftly resolved. We'll definitely return.:)
