I recently visited this place for my vacation and it is absolutely stunning. The view was incredible and the peaceful atmosphere made me feel like a oasis of calm. The view of the sea from the room made my experience unforgettable. The food was delicious! I highly recommend this place.

Phisis is a really special place. A beautiful property with super comfortable rooms and spectacular views of the coast below. The breakfast and service were exceptional. If you’re looking to disconnect, stay here. There are three beaches and a taverna with tasty local food within walking distance. If you don’t have a car, you can get the regular local bus from the port to Phisis.

The retreat is created with so much love and care that it‘s difficult not to notice, even though it is so thoughtfully designed that there are always details to discover that surprise. The location is truly unique and we we only left when there was a strong reason to do. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing and everyone was friendly and cool. The homemade breakfast is of exceptional quality. We chose to have a dinner as well, which was also an experience that one should try. We had a wonderful time and would suggest it unconditionally.

It’s been quite a few years since we last stayed somewhere in Greece that touched our soul and spirit so deeply. There’s a quiet reverence here—for the roots of this land, its beauty, its nature, and the Mediterranean as a whole. We leave with the intention to return soon. What a beautiful place! Giovanni's accommodation is very well-thought, with super comfortable and gorgeous rooms and common areas, incredible views, a truly unique setting. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, especially the plant-based menu dinner. And the scenery, frankly breathtaking.

If you want a pure relaxing vacation this is the place to be. The room is so well organised with view on the sea from your bed. You only hear the sound of the sea and the light wind. The breakfast and dinner is freshly made. The beach is 5 min walking, and if you are a yoga lover there Is a space for your mattress. I could not recommend it more. Is the one of the best hotels I ever been with focus on the details and build around nature. If you want to relax you should visit it the property. We loved it!

i came after a very busy period and in need of a quiet and relaxing place and both Donoussa and the villa offered exactly what I was looking for. I had a small but tastefully decorated room, breathtaking views and delicious vegan breakfast, including homemade bread, homemade oat milk, etc and excellent coffee (which is very hard to find in France:). There is no A/C but even in early July there was no need as the temperature was perfect, only one day i turned on the fan. It was also a great pleasure to meet and talk with Agni who took care of the room. Lovely quiet beaches within a walking distance as well as legendary Mitsos taverna. Hope to be back soon!

An amazing place for people who are looking for peace and quiet and contact with nature. Tasteful design , hospitable owners and a beautiful sunrise view without having to leave the bedroom (at least that was the case in my room, but I believe all rooms are facing the sea) we had a great time . This place is an oasis. Stunning and so so peaceful. The location is at the quiet end of a very quiet island. Giovanni has put a lot of love and precision into this place to get it just how he wants it. The results speak for them selves. Beautiful rooms and an amazing view. Claudia prepared healthy breakfasts and cooked absolutely delicious dinners each night for an extra cost. Well worth it. Go to this place if you want experience true peace.

Phisis is built with care and the utmost quality in each detail. It's a beautiful place to stay which will truly relax you to your bone. The food is vegetarian/vegan and very delicious and healthy. You can tell that all ingredients used are of the best quality. Don't expect a Coca-Cola or beer, you get great wine, coffee, and water. The location is the best on the Island, with 3 beautiful beaches to choose from and a Restaurant/Taverna 10 min by foot. In need of anything you can hike to the port village or just take the bus which goes every hour. I can just recommend a stay there and I would personally recommend staying for at least 4 days to fully embrace the slow pace of the island.

The naturally influenced architecture helps the retreat blend into the landscape. There is also is sense of Italian style that sits very comfortably within the overall perspective. Everything is tastefully presented from the crockery to the crisp cottons sheets and fluffy towels. Healthy, tasty breakfasts await you every morning and we met some wonderful likeminded people.

Phisis Nature Retreat excels in providing a tranquil haven for those seeking to reconnect with nature in the raw beauty of Donoussa. Its simplicity and luxury blend seamlessly into the island's untamed environment. One of the highlights was the nutritious and delicious meals crafted by Chef Archontoula, adding a flavorful touch to our stay. Additionally, the sea-side osteopathic massage was a soothing experience we won't forget. For those inclined to stay active, the retreat offers a great outdoor spot for morning workouts when available (please note that there’s no equipment provided- only mats), adding to the overall experience. In summary, our stay at Physis Nature Retreat was an unforgettable escape in a serene natural setting. If you're looking to unwind and immerse yourself in Donoussa's unspoiled beauty, this place is a solid choice. We were very sad to leave and we will definitely return!

The place is amazing especially if you are a couple or looking for peace and a break from stress and anxiety. The island is beautiful and the location of the hotel is ideal. The staff are welcoming as Afentoula has prepared mesmerizing tastes to wake you up and always greets you with a wide smile and Agne is there quietly taking care of your room. I had also the chance to have one of the best massages with Vangelis. The place is great and the people make it even greater.
