We had an excellent stay at this beautiful apartment. Everything you needed was there! And if you needed anything at all Laura or Paolo were on hand to help. The location was perfect…10 minute walk to beach, shops & restaurants. The pool was lovely and there were plenty of sun beds & chairs to accommodate all 4 apartments. Everything you needed in the apartment was there, they had thought of everything!! Even a washing machine with liquid & conditioner provided!

Very lovely property with an amazing garden and pool. Beach is a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Hosts Laura and Paolo were very approachable and helpful. For once we had a tv that worked with good Internet access. Supermarket a 10 minute walk along the promenade.

Laura and Paolo were very welcoming. As I was traveling by myself Paolo made some time and came up to me to talk about his personal experiences and thoughts. I appreciated his personal approach. They both gave me some great all round recommendations as well to get around in the area. They have some strict regulations about certain things but this way the property remains very accessible, clean and environment friendly as well. The garden is bigger than you think and the pool is just perfect. From the poolside you have some great sea views. In general there is a very relaxed atmosphere. The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated, the bathroom was spacious and the patio in front perfect for breakfast or a late night beer. P.S. when I returned I forgot a t-shirt on the bed. Laura was so kind to go to town and ship it to my address in Belgium. Appreciated it!

It is a rural retreat but a few minutes walk from the sea and the small town. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. There is a lovely garden and an excellent pool, the photos don't do it justice. Parking is on site and in the shade.

Laura and Paulo were excellent hosts. They were really helpful with advice on things to do and places to visit. The property is a lovely large garden where the hosts live. There is a path from the holiday home to the swimming pool which is very quiet and private. It is easy walking distance to local shops and restaurants.

“Best place we stayed at in Sicily”

Wow, this was by far the best place we stayed at in our 3 weeks in Sicily and it's a place we'd definitely come back to! The pictures on Booking.com don't do the garden and swimming pool justice: it's such a nice place, big, beautiful and with a stunning view. Then the hosts are super friendly, and the apartment is also really near the beach. Inside it's good, with nice beds and a good shower. Couldn't have asked for more!

The apartment was really cute and the garden is so beautiful! The pool area is nice and invites to relax and you can see the sea from there. Parking is easy and free and some restaurants are just a few minutes away. Laura and her husband were so courteous and the contract always easy. Thank you!

Spotless clean and tidy, nice interior with antiques, rustic style yet all modern facilities, also temperature regulation. Beautiful well kept garden, short walk to nice beach, beautiful sunsets from the pool terrace. Good tips about escursions and food from the hosts. The eco-friendly profile a big plus.

Paulo and Laura were such lovely kind and helpful hosts. Its the little things that make all the difference. On our first morning it was unseasonably cloudy and wet. Paulo kindly brought us two fresh Sicilian Cannoli. A beautiful treat and gesture. The weather improved and the swimming pool with a view over the Mediterranean was an oasis of tranquility. To cap off a very relaxed stay in Casadorata they dropped us 10km to the next town for our onwards bus journey.

We had a wonderful week at Casadorata and would always choose to rent there again if we visited Sicily a second time. The house was very clean, more than enough space for two people and furnished lovingly. Also we didn't miss one item in the kitchen, which, in our experience, is very rare. The terrace is perfect for breakfast, dinner or just relaxing, it's very private and quiet, just like the pool area and the whole garden, everything is just so beautiful. And most importantly, Laura and Paolo are incredibly nice and generous hosts. Always there for every question you can have, tips for exploring Donnalucata or the surrounging area, best places to eat, etc. We had the relaxing holiday we hoped for and couldn't have wished for more. You can see the heart they put into creating this small paradise and we would definitely recommend this to everyone visiting Donnalucata/Sicily!

“Laid back and relaxing break”

The property is located on the edge of donnalucata but there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and the beach is within 5 minutes walk. The kitchenette in the property is basic but we were able to cook some lovely pasta dishes with fresh sauces and pasta from the local supermarket. The pool at property is amazing with amazing views and feels very relaxing. Laura and Paolo are very hospitable and kind. They stopped at nothing to make sure we had a great holiday.
