The place was very clean and comfortable. Even nicer than the pictures! Location is very good, if you want to use ferry or bus on your trip. Riccardo helped us with everything and gave us tips for our journey (e.g. nice taxi driver).

Our group of friends had a wonderful stay at Casa Emilia. The house was well-equipped, spotless, and very spacious. Its location was also fantastic—right in the heart of everything. We would absolutely love to return in the future.

“Home away from home”

Our stay at this stunning villa in Dongo was absolutely perfect, both for our group and for friends who visited! The location was ideal - steps away from a charming bakery where we enjoyed fresh croissants and bread every morning. The convenience of having everything within walking distance made our stay effortless - restaurants, shops, and the beautiful Lake Como promenade were all just minutes away. The thoughtful host Riccardo provided us with two bikes, which were perfect for exploring the lakefront and making quick trips around town. The garage came in handy when a friend visited us with a car. The villa itself is incredibly well-appointed. The spacious, sun-filled rooms allowed our group to spread out comfortably while still having plenty of communal areas to gather. The modern amenities made life so convenient - the washing machine was a huge plus for longer stays, and the heating system kept us cozy during the cooler nights. Each bedroom was generously sized, providing everyone with their own private retreat. We loved the grill area even if we didn't use it but we had some meals outside, where we enjoyed many memorable evening dining together. The kitchen was well-equipped for preparing meals, and we could easily walk to pick up fresh ingredients from local shops. The villa's proximity to everything - grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, and the waterfront - made it an ideal base for exploring both Dongo and other Lake Como destinations. Whether relaxing in the bright living spaces, cooking together in the kitchen, or enjoying meals outside, the villa provided the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and authentic Italian charm. The excellent heating, modern appliances, and thoughtful touches like the bikes showed how much care the hosts put into ensuring their guests have a comfortable stay.

“Visit Dongo and stay at Casa Emilia for the most wonderful holiday!!!”

Such an amazing villa!!! The host was wonderful, easy to communicate with, quick with response and super helpful with answering questions!! The town of Dongo is a little quiter but I would actually reccommend highly! We were a group of 26-32 year olds and we found the town was perfect for our needs! Easy access to other parts of the lake, wonderful places to swim, great restaurants (La Luna was our highlight), rich history, nice bars (Birreria Tre Pievi was fab) and a wonderful market every Thursday in the square! The villa is perfect! So much space for us all, great rooms each with their own theme, and plently of bathrooms!! They had bikes we used to go explore and a pool!! (The pool is very cold but we actually really enjoyed it)! The kitchen was great. Lots of fridge and freezer space! Note that there is no oven but we didn't find that we needed it at all!! Coffee machines and a kettle, as well as hob and microwave. At the back of the villa is the most amazing cafe that sells beautiful cakes and breads for such cheap prices! The Villa is right in front of a bus station and 5 minutes from the Ferry. Couldn't rate this place more highly

Location was excellent near everything, shops restaurants and bus stop, loads of space and outdoor area was lovely.

Nice garden and pool. Dongo is a charming city.

“Perfect villa for great family stay in the heart of Dongo”

Super villa in the heart of Dongo, just few minutes to Como beach. Super tasty pastry shop round the corner. Very Italian vibe. The villa is huge, rooms are super comfy. There is even a barbecue and some bikes to use. Riccardo, the landlord, is very helpful and approachable.

“Easy stay with all amenities in lake Como”

Perfect location close to the village centre e.g. restaurants, bars, bakery round the corner, ferry departures to main attractions of lake como. Large, well equipped, clean rooms, good size fenced/secure garden for dogs/young children. Lots of equipement etc for the outside e.g. chairs, gas bbq. Very good wifi. Really good host Riccardo who was friendly, flexible and helpful.
