“Wonderful”

I'll start with : Francesco is the sample of a great host. Perfect , easy and hospitable communication. The apartment is just great for families and especially families who like good music and views (I guess most :)) One thing to take into account that it's on the third floor so you have to climb some stairs and yet again, Francesco met us and helped with the luggage. Did I said how great he is?

Bonjourno! We’re really loving your home. It’s so tastefully curated. Everything in your home has so much thought and love in it. You seem to be a big fan of Basquiat. I’ve read a bit of him and his work in Olivia Laing’s book. What an artist, and what a life, a tragic end alas. I’m absolutely in love with the collection of amazing books you have, especially the Basquiat ones. And of course, the rock collection and all the records. You’re home and you as a person seems like a throwback to good times, and it represents some of the most valuable things that seem to be fading away in the modern world. Thank you making us feel at home, and making us strengthen our belief in humanity to some extent.

Every now and then you get a truly special place. A place where you feel truly welcomed and at home. This was that place. This isn’t a 5 star review, I would give it 20/5!! It was truly perfection . Francesco was in. Intact from the moment of booking and helped us even before we arrived, making local recommendations, assisting with accommodation when our previous accommodation cancelled our booking last minute. He is the best! Just wonderful, the number 1 best host in Italy!! Francesco and his family are amazing, they welcomed us so warmly, we felt like part of the family from the moment we arrived, and they all went above a beyond. Alessandro and his grandpa are awesome!! The best!! Ale speaks amazing English and was very helpful and his grandpa, We had a language barrier but nothing that can’t be solved over grappa! The apartment is beautiful, large spacious, beautifully clean, the main bed is super soft, like a pillow you sink into, we nearly cried it was the softest we have felt in all of Europe. View is gorgeous, beach is a 5 min walk and there are lots of cafe’s and restaurants a few mins walk away. The records and art is amazing, and wonderful entertainment. They are so lovely to let us use these while we are there. Bathtub was AMAZING!! They included so many little extras to help us feel spoilt. This was a perfect break during a hectic trip and it felt like coming home. I could go on and on, just stay here, you won’t regret it!! Hints, if you go to Villa BALBINELLO there is more parking in the hill if it is busy, Francesco can help with parking options. Chiesa di Sant'Eusebio was a great lookout, 15 mins up the mountain, but decent roads (google maps is not friendly in Como). We loved it you will live it too.

“Lovely apartment with friendly hosts”

Beautiful apartment on a great location. Franceso was very helpful and friendly. And also his whole family. The kitchen has everything- more then you will need. The terrace has a great view. We all love music and that apartment felt like home. There we a lot privat record collections and photos, which we respectfully didn‘t touch. Thank you for everything Francesco

Fantastic apartment on the top floor of the family home. A lot of thought has gone into the decor and furnishing to make it feel like a home from home. Our host, Francesco, could not have been more helpful. Great value for money. A short walk to the local restaurants and shops.

“Art Music House, Dongo”

The host, Francesco, was exceptional. From the outset, his communication was outstanding. The accommodation and it's location is perfect. The house is incredibly well appointed, with everything one needs..and more..and the views breathtaking. An absolute gem and a must to return to.

“Like a home from home . Fantastico!”

Francesco and his son Allesandro couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. The Art Music House Dongo is in an excellent location within easy walk of the town, and has convenient parking close to the house. Francesco recommended and booked a local restaurant for us and it was excellent. The house is quite exquisite and really is a special place with so many unique artworks and musical memorabilia. It has a tremendous outlook over the town to the lake and great views from the balconies surrounding. Francesco has a fantastic vinyl collection and record player which we really enjoyed using in the evenings . The house has a great spacious social living area and well appointed kitchen that really was like a home from home. We definitely would like to return to Art Music House Dongo in the summertime.

“Amazing”

Everything was great. The apartment is atmospheric, comfortable, spacious and has all the amenities. Amazing view from the terrace. Clean pebble beach 5-7 minutes walk with children. The host Francesco was very nice and helpful, provided detailed information in advance and was willing to take us to the mountains on the weekend. We would love to come back here again and wish Francesco success and good guests.

“Comfortable, homely and everything you could need”

We had an amazing time while we stayed here. Francesco was very helpful and welcoming. The comfort of the beds and sofa was much appreciated. It was very clean and had everything you would need as a family group. The view was beautiful, and Dongo had little shops nearby and bigger supermarkets, not that far away. We visited Villa del balbianello 25 minutes away, which was featured in Star Wars, which I have added a photo of. It would take weeks to see everything in the area as it is steeped in history, so we will definitely be back. Thank you both 💓
