“Freezing cold showers is the main thing I will remember”

Although the room was nice and the view was lovely, unfortunately for the most of two days we had freezing cold showers which was not rectified even after we reported it twice. Eventually after complaining we were moved to other rooms and even then the hot water was very intermittent between hot and cold. The service in the roof bar was great on the first evening but when we went up on the second evening we were told only two cocktails were available even though all the bottles of spirits were on display. I think the lady who was not there the previous night just had not idea how to make them. She even tried to tell us a gin & tonic was a cocktail!! The breakfast was awful and the lunch we had in the restaurant on arrival was average. On the plus side the room was clean and we had an amazing view of the beach. And the staff were kind and always smiling even though they couldn’t resolve the cold water issue

“Avoid.”

We got food poisoning from the hotel restaurant on our first night and had to miss out on all our tours. The rooms smelt like cigarettes. The showers only stayed hot for 2 minutes before turning cold. You couldn't connect the internet to the TV so you could only watch local TV. Staff were friendly and apologetic. When we informed them about our food poisoning, they organised us to see a nurse at our own expense and removed our food from our bill.

“Disappointing”

The room was spacious with a great view. Good shower, although not enough hot water to use the bath. Ladies at breakfast were helpful and friendly.

We stayed overnight here on our way to Phong Nha. Nothing much was happening as everyone had left town in fear of a storm but the restaurant cooked us a grand meal to enjoy

The location was excellent eventhough it is a bit out of town. The staff are pleasant. We booked a family room so we had plenty of space. It was out of season so there were not many people around and this contributed to a peaceful environment.

Friendly staff who did their best to speak English. Spacious, clean room with views on the ocean. Gym was good for a hotel.

Great view from our room, where you can see Nhat Le river, Nhat Le beach, and Bao Ninh beach. The view from the rooftop bar is even much better, especially at night. In the evening, fresh seafood restaurants are available right in front of the hotel, along the beach. Lunch at the hotel meets our expectations: delicious food at the right price.
