Overview
The family-run Hotel Waldblick is located in the Aufen district of Donaueschingen, just 3 km from the town centre. It offers a traditional restaurant and a sauna. All of the country-style rooms at Hotel Waldblick have a private bathroom, cable TV channels and free internet. Most rooms were renovated in 2013, and some are suitable for allergy sufferers. A breakfast buffet is served each morning at the Waldblick. In the evenings, the hotel restaurant offers food from the Black Forest and Baden regions. A sports archery range is situated just 600 metres from the hotel. Many spa services are available for an additional fee. The hotel also has a large garden. Guests have the option to purchase a SchwarzwaldCard which offers free access to various tourist attractions in the Black Forest. Parking is free at Hotel Waldblick and there is also secure bicycle storage.

“A great place to relax, wonderful staff and amazing food.”
I admit I was a little disappointed when I found that the hotel was a little out of town ... but that soon went away when I experienced the peace and tranquility of the setting in the village and the surrounding views. I walked into town in 25 mins along a pleasant path anyway,. The staff were excellent both on the Reception area and the catering side. The chef... who i didn't meet must have been exceptional .. the meals were amazing... Parking for my motorcycle was secure and I appreciated that. Spent 3 great nights here - fantastic atmosphere... Would recommend without hesitation. Thank you all.

Nice big hotel in Donaueschingen. Easy contact with staff. We could not come at check-in time because of traffic so we easy got the keys in the box late in the evening. We got a huge two-story apartment instead of triple room. Beds are very comfortable. Clean. Breakfast is very good. Parking is near the hotel.

“Nice”
They gave us a nice room away from the church bells, which went pn all night. Very good breakfast. Good parking. Nice restaurant with a limited, but very good menu. Our requests were met in a very nice way.

Our room was very warm because right under the roof and exposed to the sun all day. Opening the windows was not an option because of the lack of the mosquito net.

“Everything perfect!”
Nice hotel at the beginning of the black forrest. Clean and silenced rooms. Huge private and free parking. Good breakfast with local products. I try also the restaurant for dinner and everything was perfect!
