Super views over the ocean, sufficient facilities for cooking. Very comfortable and private. Really great to have a swimming pool. Within reach of lots of lovely coastline, national parks and waterfalls (though Manuel Antonio was ridiculously busy). Plenty of wildlife to see around the property too!

The host Matthew is fantastic. Communication was excellent and he was friendly and very helpful. The Cabinas were very clean, cool, spacious and comfortable. The shower was in the property but with outdoor views which was a lovely touch. There was a pool area with an outdoor kitchen which was great. And the views! Wow! Sea, sunsets and jungle. Couldn’t ask for more. Sorry to leave.

“Amazing location in the middle of the jungle”

Wonderful location and view. You get all the sounds from the jungle which one would expect. Access can be a challenge but that's part of the package and 'enjoyment'. Matthew who made us feel very welcome does state this very clearly so nothing to complaint about. View from our room was amazing, lovely swimming pool, we really enjoyed our stay.

“A beautiful retreat where you can completely relax and re-charge”

It was like being in your own little jungle retreat. Mat was very friendly and helpful right from the beginning and if there was a small issue he attended to it immediately. The garen had a path all the way around, but there was a lot of different birds in the trees and beautiful plants - it was like having your own mini national park outside your front door! The pool was great and lit at night so you could stay here all evening. The stay was great value too. There were supermarkets not far away and there was parking outside the property. The bed was very comfortable and there was a good amount of storage for belongings. Towels were lovely quality and even swimming towels were provided. Kitchen equipment was good too and there was another kitchen by the pool. We would have loved to stay longer here and would certainly like to go back. It is a real retreat and a very special place. Unbelievable host; he was very kind. When the lock on our cabin broke, he upgraded us to a better cabin. The view and pool are stunning; you can see the sun setting over the sea from the middle of the jungle, where the cabins are located. The rooms are beautiful, in my opinion, and the patio is very nice. Only advice: a 4x4 car is mandatory if you want to stay at this facility. I would recommend this stay.

Absolutely wondefull. The outside livingroom was very comfy, great seats and a lovely swimming Pool. The only negative we could think of was that we only stayed 2 nights.

The cabana was gorgeous, the terrace and views were breathtaking and I really enjoyed hanging out by the pool. Matthew was very welcoming, discrete and went out of his way to make my stay memorable.

Matt was extremely helpful and responsive. He provided answers and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The pool was great! At night there's a nice breeze if you leave all the windows open. We saw Toucans building a nest and discovered a hidden waterfall. Make.sure you have a 4x4!!!

Beautiful tranquil location, with amazing wildlife and sunset views. Cabina’s were modern, and clean. We would definitely recommend to others and come back again.

“Tranquil, comfortable hillside retreat.”

Location, location, location! We loved the forested hillside setting - cool, lush and green with an amazing view every evening as the sun set over the distant ocean. The sound of the birds and the weird and wonderful howler monkeys at dawn and dusk was extra special. Our stand-alone cabina was well equipped with a little outdoor kitchen, so we could prepare simple evening meals when we couldn't tear ourselves away from our terrace after a dip in the pool. It was beautifully appointed - tasteful decor, private, spotless, surrounded by tropical flowering plants. No TV or air con (not needed), good wifi. We loved the 2 large screened sliding doors that lent a real indoor-outdoor living feel. Thanks to our wonderful hosts Ben for introducing us to the resident sloth, and Nate for providing fresh tropical fruit for our morning smoothies, connections to local tour operators, and spot on restaurant tips. We had fun with the boogie boards (short drive to the fab Playa Hermosa), and enjoyed the hike and swim at Nauyaca Waterfalls. If you want a serene, comfortable space with welcoming hosts this place is for you. A 4 wheel drive is a must to get here.

First of all Matthew the host is such a nice guy, helpful and there for any questions. Second of all it’s in an amazing location, beautiful views, quiet and so peaceful with nature surrounding you you really get the feel of being in Costa Rica I highly recommend this place and really enjoyed our time! Definitely needs a 4x4 to get to the place however it’s recommended to rent a 4x4 in Costa Rica no matter where you go because of the roads.

It’s a piece of heaven, we enjoyed it from the first to the last minute.

Exceptionally peaceful stay immersed in nature and all the sounds that come with it. A great experience.

Amazing ! A large room with a superb sea view! We absolutely received a very warm welcome, and saw lots of animals in front of our room ! Nothing to complain about, everything was perfect !
