The Lodge is stunning - the views, the garden and pool and the comfortable rooms. The hosts are so welcoming and helpful. It is by far and away the best place I have ever stayed.

It has a fantastic view and many spots to enjoy it - you find yourself not wanting to leave. The cabins have a rustic vibe but are very comfortable and have nice decks with hammocks. Sid's breakfast's are excellent - as are his cocktails! Michelynn and Sid are very welcoming and you are made to feel like old friends. Would love to return!

The location High up the hill looking down over the valley and the Ocean are spectacular views indeed. Only a short drive to Dominical Beach and village for cafes and Restaurants and Markets A great place to relax by the pool and totally chill out. Cooked breakfast available with a great view

“Would recommend for authentic beautiful experience”

Stunning location, loved the traditional wooden cabinas with lots of rustic charm and character, a little basic kitchen area as you may need to cook lunch and supper. Dark wood wall panels, bamboo ceiling, craft fabric curtains and more. Has wire mesh screening so got no bites. The cabinas set in beautiful hillside garden and pool, with large deck and a raised platform to appreciate the incredinle view of the Pacific, or swinging in the hammock on your own little cabina balcony/deck. Delightful hosts, Michaelynn and Sid very helpful as I had no transport so helped me organise things. (if you dont visit by car, get a taxi from local town, or even possibly an Uber which seems to be operating in some form in CR.) Delicious Costa Rican style breakfast cooked by Sid to your requirements. If you want a modern hotel with marble bathroom and air con this is not for you. The bathroom is basic but has hot shower and all you need. Didn’t need air con as the breeze from the Pacific was enough. (was visiting Jan-Feb). Would reccommend for authentic beautiful experience.

Beautiful lodge close to nature on a hill overlooking the ocean. Sid and Michaelynn are great hosts and make you feel right at home. We very much enjoyed the fabulous breakfast that Sid prepared for us in the morning and being woken by the monkeys in the mornings. Thank you Sid and Michaelynn!

A Hidden Gem with Breathtaking Views and Unmatched Hospitality I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible lodge, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the stunning ocean views that greeted me—every sunrise and sunset was absolutely breathtaking. A truly spectacular place with all the view and the nature and animals around. Michaelynn and Sid are great hosts, very friendly and helpful. The place has a peaceful aura. The breakfast from Sid was great. We enjoyed our stay there very much!

“Beautiful mountain retreat”

From the very beginning to when I, sadly, had to leave, l couldn't have felt more welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. It had been raining for days and everything, including my luggage, was wet. Sid whisked the clothes straight into the wash and also managed to get my backpack clean and dry. I was having a rest between a conservation holiday and a beach break, it was lovely to spend my time bird watching and relaxing on the terrace area....l had some fabulous chats and feel I've made friends for life. I didn't have a car but they are always popping out and back so you can get groceries. Would definitely recommend taking advantage of the amazing breakfast though. I could write so much....beds, comfortable.....shower, hot.....free coffee for the machine.....monkeys, toucan, hummingbirds ......

“The stay was a great finale to our trip.”

The view is unique and priceless. The complex is small and informal and the hosts are extremely welcoming and always on hand with help and advice. Sid prepares delicious breakfast dishes. The bungalows are well equipped and are spaced far enough apart to give you plenty of privacy. One comment: It would be great if the mosquito nets were completely renewed, as there is a lot going on inside in the evenings. We would definitely come again.

“Glorious in every way!”

We had the most amazing stay here. We were greated with wonderful hospitality and warmth followed by a view that truly took our breath away. The property is located in the hills and the view over the pacific is outstanding. Sunbathing or watching the sunset from the sun loungers was magical. The breakfast was brilliant and all homemade with care. The cabins were cute and authentic, adding charm to our stay. We loved hearing the wildlife around us as soon as we woke up. The hosts were incredible, helping us book restaurants and excursions. We really felt part of the family. I will be back and I already can’t wait!

“A gem of a location to base yourself for the South Pacific coast”

We absolutely loved Pacific Edge. The individual bungalows have very comfortable beds and good ceiling fans. The thing that makes Pacific Edge so special is the view from the deck, up the Pacific coast over unbroken forest past Dominical and on to Manuel Antonio Nat Park. (and the pool). Sid and Michaelynn are wonderful hosts, and you should count yourself very lucky if you are able to stay here.

Very forthcoming hosts, great location if you dig the area. Nauyaca waterfalls were among our favorite falls of our 3 week roadtrip thru CR. If I return to this area, I'd def try to book one of the wooden villas in the upper area of the lodge. The horseback rising into sunset at playa hermosa was a great recommendation.

The view from the lodge is nothing short of stunning and the property is gorgeous. It's also conveniently situated within a short distance from several beautiful (and empty) beaches. Sid and Michaelynn are fantastic hosts: warm, friendly, and hospitable. Breakfast was fresh and delicious - well worth the extra fee. Highly recommended.
