“Wonderful holiday in Normandy”

Lovely house with real character right in the centre of medieval Domfront. We had a great time. The house is filled with interesting things that really give it style. Beautiful art on the walls. The owner gave us a generous welcome, including giving us various local speciality foods. He clearly takes pride in his house and having his guests have a good experience. Waking up and having breakfast with Domfront's stunning church out of the window was a highlight. Our kids loved dancing to vinyls on the record player and playing chess! We were lucky to hit the biennial médiévales festival in Domfront which was absolutely fantastic. Filled two days easily with spectacles, great food and activities. There are three free public parking spots directly outside. They are technically limited to 2 hours during the daytime, but it doesn't seem to be strictly enforced. We only had a problem parking there a couple of times, in which case there's additional free parking a short distance away. Even if they are occupied on arrival, it's fine to stop outside the property to drop bags off.

“Excellent property and full of character”

The apartment was very well equipped and full of character. It was in a very convenient location, easy walking distance to local amenities and a very short drive to the local main supermarket. The location was ideal for visits to attractions all over the area by car but if you just wanted to forget the car there is lots to do in Domfront itself.

“Great convenient appartement in small city with all you need in it and around it”

You have a 3-floor house in the middle of the town Domfront. Bakery, grocery store and restaurants are right around the corner. The house has 3 large bedrooms en 2 bathrooms; so nice with 4 people. There's a large kitchen with everything in it you need; many, many, many plates, cups, glasses, knives and pans to cook for the whole family. And also herbs and oil and stuff, so you don't have to buy all that. The owner, Bruno, is very nice. Het did a great job on completing this apartment and informed us very well about everything we needed. He also supplied us with some local goodies. And he has two bicycles downstairs which you can borrow, we did ! A nice addition to make the house complete might be a pool table downstairs :-) and some more pictures on this website.
