Staff tried to give us a more basic room that we hadn't booked. They only gave us the room we had booked after we complained.

The staff, setting and room were all great. The guided forest walks were brilliant.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. We did the night tour and the am tour and our guide was so knowledgeable. The room was comfortable and the food was delicious.

The staff was absolutely lovely and very accommodating. Amazing food, wonderful tours and beautiful and peaceful views. The room was more than comfortable, having a spacious bed, actual warm shower and even AC. If you want to explore the rainforest, this is the place to be!

Great location right on the edge of the forest. Nice room with a great view. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially with arranging tours and transport. Food was tasty and generous portions. I arranged two forest tours through the hotel, which were great, we saw loads of stuff and got to swim in a local waterfall.

Great location next to the reserve. Quality guides, delicious food and attentive staff. There is a pool and a bar.

The location was very nice, just a few steps away from the forest. The staff was friendly, but felt quite reserved.

The accommodation is perfectly located at the entrance of the jungle, offering a great sense of adventure and tranquility. The rooms are exactly as shown in the pictures—spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bathroom is also large and well-maintained. The pool is pristine and a real highlight, especially on hot days when you can cool off after a day on the road. Additionally, there is a lovely spot to enjoy dinner, breakfast, or simply relax and chat with friends. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy both the comfort and natural surroundings.

The location and setting were beautiful, the walk in the Rainforest & guide were great.

Staff were extremely kind and motivated, but a bit too focused on selling the tours.. Food were nice and beautiful garden and pool area.

The location is just 50 metres away from the entrance to the Sinharaja rainforrest, but you are already in the rainforest setting in the stay. Pikiri is a kind and warm person who made our stay so lovely, he made sure the food was prepared according to our dietary requirements and also helped us find a quick and cheap way to Colombo after our flight was rescheduled.

“Amazing”

Nestled just near the Gate of Sinharaja Rainforest and it was an unforgettable experience. Surrounded by lush greenery everywhere, we felt more alive. The rainforest tour gave me memories and a peek into the forest world. The tour was very informative for a nature lover like me. Mr. Prasad and his team were very helpful with our needs. The highlight of the stay was a firefly that was just chilling in our room. It was magical.

Very friendly and helpful staff and good restaurant on site. This made a big difference because there aren’t a lot of places nearby to eat.

Beautiful place next to the entrance of the rainforest. Restaurant with view over the ponds, garden and forest. Clean swimming pool. Fresh and big breakfast. Ideal place for Sinharaja hikes.

Nice feeling in the rainforest. The tour with Sagera was awesome, saw so many different animals and hat a swim at a nice waterfall!

“Amazing”

In terms of location, style, room design, the owner's attention to details, food, staff, organization - this is the best place I've stayed in in Sri Lanka. and it’s especially incredible that all this was in a relict forest, where it was obviously much more difficult to organize everything at this high level. The atmosphere of the place and the energy of the people working in this hotel are amazing. Upon arrival, Ice tea was like a friendly gesture, a flower on the table, cool room design, floor-to-ceiling windows, a view of the pond with water lilies in the fog in the morning - indescribable. very very tasty and varied breakfasts and generally very tasty prepared food. the best owner Prasad who's meeting guests like old friend and always in touch and manager of the restaurant Tikiriki, and wonderful women who work for our pleasure. The hotel guide to the forest is simply wonderful. thanks to your entire team. you know how to surprise and give joy and pleasure.I appreciate you and grateful for my wonderful days in your hotel
