The room we booked was simple but completely ok for our purposes, located inside the tenants family house, so we were allowed to use the living room, balcony, and lakeside garden. Erik gave us a wonderfully warm welcome and explained everything patiently about Matka Canyon, hiking trails etc. Two bottles of water and biscuits in the room we thought was a very nice add-on. In their MJ Café near by we enjoyed lovely dinner and lunch the next day. As they have to close down their business end of September we wish them good luck for a new project hopefully coming up soon. Thank you both for the wonderful stay at RH!!

“Best place for relax”
Very cosy place, perfect for long escape from urban life. It is not a luxury place, but a perfect one for dreamers and romantic souls. There is a perfect terrace facing the river and rocks. The owners are very positive and friendly. And there is a perfect bonus on top of all of that - extremely lovely and friendly cat 🙂

the house was cute and pretty, with a private path to river. We also been there in a good tima that we were the only one staying there so we basically shared the house only with the owners.

“Friendly homestay in a good location to hike around the area”
This homestay is conveniently located close to the main attraction of this area, but still has a quiet vibe. You can swim in the river if the water is low and lounge in the hammock in the shared garden. Several hikes start close to the homestay and the owner is very friendly and responsive.

Great location, 15 minutes walk to Matka Canyon. Private parking, house right on the river with direct access to it. Very nice and communicative owner. Climatic interiors and a homely atmosphere. I recommend.

“Do not miss it”
Host is helpful with information about the area around. The property itself is like a cozy wooden mountain cottage with eco heat system, Very comfortable with amazing location near the river a few meters away. Highly recommended!

“Perfect stay”
We stayed two nights in this beautiful house to fully enjoy Matka canyon and treks around. Owners are really kind and the house really well located, peaceful and comfortable. Great value for money, we can only recommend!
