A special highlight was the breakfast with a stunning view over the Brda hills – the perfect way to start the day, with delicious food and a peaceful atmosphere. It feels like being in Tuscany—yet it can’t be, this is Slovenia! In the heart of the Brda region, between Dobrovo and Medana, we found this accommodation. By the time we arrive, we’re already going from one amazement to the next—the road takes us through stunning countryside. We reach the given address and park in front of an almost new, very sophisticated building. The room is excellent: clean, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. Right outside our door stands a magnificent olive tree, and the view is simply fantastic. Breakfast is served by Jacob, the owner himself, at a table that makes us feel as though we’ve stepped into a five-star hotel. And as a farewell after breakfast, Jacob even gave us a beautiful flower! Many thanks for everything—we’ll definitely be staying here again next time!

This might honestly be the best place we’ve stayed in a long time (and not just in Slovenia!). You get your own private space with a lovely green terrace, and the interior is modern, stylish and super comfortable. We stayed three nights but really wished we could have stayed longer. The breakfast is local, different every day, and comes with the most delicious croissants, all enjoyed with an amazing view. Jakob is such a great host: super kind, easygoing, and he even has his own page with favorite local tips. He also has some really nice plans to make the place even better in the future. And the location… absolutely breathtaking. We can’t recommend this stay enough!

Beautiful apartment with wonderful surroundings, delightful breakfasts

“I would return again and again!”

The room we rented was large, extremely well furnished with high quality new furnishings. The bed was very comfortable as was the large attractive sofa. The bathroom was again large with a very efficient shower with plenty of hot water day and night. The A/C was well placed and cooled the room in the high temperatures which were raging outdoors without blowing the cold blasts over the bed. Breakfast was a revelation, quite honestly one of the best we’ve had in our various journeys with fresh fruit and tomatoes straight from the owners garden, a selection of meat, cheeses, omelets, yoghurts and cereals, juices, coffee and teas : very generous and greatly appreciated. Thank you Jakob for hosting us. Private parking on site is available.
