“A wonderful stay with amazing hospitality in a beautiful and modern apartment.”

The apartment was very clean, modern, and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We really appreciated the thoughtful welcome — cold drinks in the fridge, delicious homemade cookies, and fresh cherries from the garden. The hospitality was exceptional, and the owner’s son was kind enough to give us a lift to the nearby hill where we had our wine and food tasting reservation.

Divan, udoban apartman sa puno prostora i apsolutno svega sto je potrebno za prijatan osecaj. Kada se udje sve duvno mirise. Na stolu su nas sacekali pravi domaci kolaci. Domacin je prijatan, neposredan i uzivali smo u kratkom razgovoru sa njim. U apartmanu smo nasli brosure koje objasnjavaju velike mogucnosti za obilazak Brda regije. Stvarno iznenadjujuce iskustvo koje treba ponoviti.

Excellent tranquil location, with a wonderful view. Spacious, clean apartment with all amenities the guest can wish for. The location is close to walking/hiking paths. We can not praise enough the kindness of the owners who welcomed us with home made cookies and the best quality wine. Next time we will definitely stay longer.

“Perfect stay in walking distance do Dobrovo”

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a very friendly host who showed us where to park the car. The apartment was spotlessly clean, as if it were brand new. The refrigerator was exceptionally well stocked — with water, juice, wine, milk, butter, honey, jam, and more. On the table, we were welcomed with five or six kinds of homemade pastries made from high-quality ingredients — they were simply too good! The beds were comfortable, the temperature pleasant, and it took us about 15 minutes on foot to reach Dobrovo. The house is in a secluded location, and the surroundings are perfectly peaceful. Upon our departure, we received gifts of dried persimmons and fresh mandarins. Incredible!!!

Tanja and Mario and their family have been the best hosts we could imagine. From the first moment onwards, we have been spoiled with all kinds of homemade cookies to drinks and fresh fruits. The location is superb, having a stunning view. The apartment itself is very spacious and well equipped, containing basically all the amenities we could have wished for. Also, the apartment is very clean and modern. Apart from this, it is also very close by Italy. So if you want to visit Slovenia and Italy at the same time, Fojana is the best apartment for you. And even if you are not going to Italy, we would definitely recommend Fojana to anyone. If we could have given a 12 instead of a 10, we would have done this. Hvala Tanja and family!

The apartment was very nice, clean, and spacious. The view was stunning. They prepared sweets and snacks for us in the apartment, and in the fridge, there was wine, elderflower syrup, and jam. The owner was very kind and easy to reach. In short, everything was excellent.

Exceptional! The apartment is spotlessly clean, has great views (terasse!) and nice location for cycling, hiking or wine-tasting. But most amazing of all is the hospitality we experienced. Welcomed by a fridge full of drinks, and almost every day we were surprised by homemade cakes or fresh fruit. The hosts are amazingly friendly. Thank you so much, we enjoyed every minute!

Such a beautiful home: spacious, well-equipped, clean, with magnificent views. There are plenty of picturesque walks and hikes to be taken immediately from the front doorstep. The hosts are wonderfully kind, helpful, thoughtful and know the area so well; they are very generous -there were homemade cookies, cakes, sweets, and local beverages and fresh fruit. Our family had an exceptional, and very special, stay at Apartma Fojana! We are extremely grateful.

Superb location overlooking the vineyards & such generous hosts. They couldn't have been more hospitable offering wine & other goodies. We were disappointed to only be staying one night.

Unbelievably amazing experience. Friendly hosts, who fulfilled all our wishes and made sure that our stay was more than pleasant. Comfortable modern apartment that contains all that you might need during the stay. Free private parking in front of house. Great starting point for discovering surrounding area, hills, villages, towns and cities. And really. I cannot stress enough how helpful, pleasant, and kind were the hosts.

“Gorgeous vineyard view in a quiet area.”

Big spacious accommodation with extra big bed for a good rest. Spectacular view of local vineyard. We were welcomed with lot's of homemade cakes and sweets from the grandmother of the property. And some local wine and beer.

The best accommodation of my life. If only I could give more than 10. The owners are truly amazing, kind and friendly with a great sense of humour. They chatted with us, showed us around and explained everything. There were homemade cookies, wine, beers, coffee, tea and bottled water waiting for us at the apartment for free. It feels like home and looks much better in real than in photos. Everything perfectly clean and furnished, very spacious and comfortable. Amazing sitting area in front of the house overlooking the vineyards. We didn't want to leave at all. My friend sat too hard on the bed and broke the grate. We offered to reimburse the owners but they wanted nothing and were still kind enough to wish us well.

The place is suitable for people who enjoy being in a quiet place where the scenery invites to contemplation. We were warmly welcomed by Tanja who offered us plenty of useful tips and we were overwhelmed by the little touches that her mother Maria was responsible for and which made our stay even more enjoyable: homemade cakes and lemonade, as well as other little treats and drinks that were complimentary. We felt very welcome. The apartment is new, smelled good and was spotless. We are happy to have found this place and grateful for such hospitality!
