A really lovely place to stay in the mountains with fantastic views! The owners were really helpful. Breakfast was really nice and different each day. We also ate dinner there both nights which was also really good, very reasonably priced and we loved eating outside and looking at the views.

We had the perfect stay at Hotel Rural El Sestil. It is a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature and mountains. The rooms are comfortable and spotless, the owners are warm, friendly, and welcoming. The breakfast was good!..10/10 recommend for a quiet stay in the mountains

“A lovely stay in an idilic location. Views and mountains as far as you can see! Great hiking.”

We had a two night stay to ensure that we had a full day of hiking. The staff were excellent and really really helpful. I always want to practice my Spanish and they were willing to let me try my best and if I got stuck they were able to help me out a little. We discussed some walks and also ate one night in the restaurant which was superb. We had the mountain stew which was perfect after a full 8 hours in the beautiful mountains. We didn't see anyone else for the whole day which was brilliant. Just watch out for the sheep dogs if you take your own dog, and keep your distance (we did).

Amazing hotel with great service provided by its owners.Incredible peaceful location just in the middle and high in the mountains, with very beautiful view on mountains,delicious food,a lot of choices,traditional spanish breakfast.Also great hotel for staying with children, feels very causy, not like such turistic places and hotels.Also nice room and big enough.And that is specially what we love, owners of the hotel make our stay also very special, big thannks to them!Nice walkings in the area of the hotel also.

Very nicely located at the Picos de Europa. Staff is very helpful. Food is great. And it is dog friendly !!!

Good strong shower. Brilliant view from the window. Excellent meals. Hosts were also superb. Thanks to the entire team. They also helped repair my motorcycle when it broke down! The host was able to put up with my very limited spanish and we had a good Time despite this. Many thanks for the frustrations this must have caused. Good wine and beer. I had to double check the price when given to me as I thought they undercharged. Bed was comfortable. Storage space was ample.

The location and drive are phenomenal. A basic level of Spanish is to be recommended but the staff is very helpful even if you do not master Spanish that well.
