The private pool with breathtaking mountain views was so relaxing, and the room itself was luxurious, with a cozy king-size bed and a gorgeous glass-roofed bathroom. I had the incredible honor of being the very first guest to stay in the Presidential Suite at Andriyala, and it was truly an experience beyond words! The suite is nothing short of ultra-luxurious and offered everything I could have dreamed of. The private pool, complete with a jacuzzi, was a major highlight, and the view from the pool and bathroom was breathtaking. The suite’s design ensured I could enjoy the amazing view right from the bed, which made waking up each morning a joy. The room itself is the largest I have ever stayed in, with ample space and top-notch amenities, making my stay extremely comfortable. Privacy is guaranteed, and I felt like I was in my own world throughout my stay.The privacy was next level cuz the suite was located in a separate area with a private garden .The addition of a hammock provided a perfect spot to relax. Food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, making each meal a pleasure. The friendly butler service ensured that every need was taken care of seamlessly. For the level of luxury offered, the price was very reasonable. To top it all off, the location is wonderful, offering peace and serenity. If you're looking for luxury, privacy, and a truly exceptional stay, the Presidential Suite at Andriyala Diyatalawa is unbeatable. Highly recommended!

unique villa, colonial building with a large and clean swimming pool, outdoor fireplace, everything very well maintained, dinner by the fireplace, fog and silence, food freshly prepared and served professionally. Very comfortable beds. We (3 couples) are extremely satisfied.

I was over the moon with their friendly service and food was delicious not at all we didn’t even thought in an single thought we would plan for a romantic dinner they suggested and prepared a our dinner in a beautiful surrounding. Didn’t disturb us not at all. They gave us enough time to spend and breath good air inside this wonderful cold village. We will definitely planing to visit again soon. - Architecture style of the backyard interior. Many flowers and plants. - Spectacular landscape. - Friendliest and helpful stuff. - Amazing manager! He made our stay comfortable. Gave us many advices where to go and what sights were better to visit. - Hot water. - Really good European breakfast with steamed vegetables, fresh fruits, eggs and toasts. - Comfortable location not so far from the Lipton seat.

I've stayed in a number of hotels. This was at the top of my list of the best experiences I've ever had. The staff was really friendly and accommodating to my every need. Thank you really lot.The pool and garden were fantastic. One of the nicest places to unwind.

We stayed in the Andriyala B&B for two nights, and it was a lovely experience. The house is an old (Dutch?) manor that has been renovated and kept in great shape. We chose this location to get off-the-beaten-path, and catch a train from the nearby station to Kandy - an absolute must for any first-time visitor to Sri Lanka. Additionally, we were planning to visit tea plantations, so the proximity to Lipton's Seat was very convenient. One of the highlights of our stay was the terraced garden overlooking the valley and the nice pool. The soundscape in the morning was also lovely - Buddhist and Muslim prayers broadcast from afar created an atmospheric and peaceful vibe. The owner went above and beyond to make our journey easier, even coming to pick us up from our previous place by the Indian Ocean. He tried his best to use his contacts to secure us train tickets (which we failed to do ahead of our travels due to the last-minute nature of this trip), and arranged tuk-tuks for us to travel to Lipton's Seat and the train station later. The chef doubling as a property manager was available to us on request. A chatty guy and a great storyteller, he made our visit feel like a homestay, which was nice. However, the bill for the meals ended up being unexpectedly high, so be mindful of that if you plan to stay here. That being said, the stay was pretty chill (also quite literally, as the temperatures were significantly lower than down south), and very pleasant overall. I would recommend this place as a cute and cozy stopover, especially for larger groups of 4-5 or 6 people.
