Overview
Set in the heart of Disentis Village, Hotel Alpsu is only a 4-minute walk away from the Disentis Abbey, a famous Benedictine Monastery. It features Alpine-style rooms and a restaurant serving typical Grisons fare. This family-run property with a long tradition is housed in a large country-style building with a yellow façade. The public areas, where free Wi-Fi is available, feature a library and a large restaurant spread across several differently styled dining rooms. Alpsu's restaurant was awarded for the best preparation of the local dish called “Capuns”. Alpsu's rooms feature natural wooden furniture, a TV, a radio, and a work desk. The area is suitable for different winter sports, as well as for biking and motorcycling. Disentis Cable Car is 1 km away and can be reached with a free bus stopping 20 metres away. The hotel offers a ski storage room and a motorbike garage for free. Disentis Train Station can be reached within a 5-minute walk. The scenic Oberalp Mountain Pass is 15 km away. Free on-site parking is provided.

I rented 3 places in Italy during this trip all of them sent me welcome messages on WhatsApp with clear instructions This is supposed to be a hotel, when arrived later after losing my way the place was closed Next day the manager excused that I have to contact him in advance which was not possible This hotel does not deserve rating 9. I was expecting better place and service

Having never tried Romansh/ Grisons food before, dinner here was definitely the highlight. Local ingredients and unique dishes were excellent, and the owner personally checked-up on me. Seeing how much I enjoyed the local cuisine, she even brought me an extra local appetizer for free. The room was clean and comfortable, with a small staircase up to the bathroom. The overall feeling is quite homely and friendly, and within very short walking distance from Disentis' famous abbey.

“Exceptional in every way.”
The whole staff is very welcoming and helpful. We also could bring along our dog (he is about shepherd-sized), which wasn't a problem at all. Our room was very clean and extremely comfortable with so many adorable details.

Classic swiss mountain resort hotel, nicely renovated room with top end bathroom fixtures and equipment. The restaurant was good and cosy as well.
