The location was great. We stayed in a hostel room with a huge window and a lovely Mountain View. The design of the room makes it reasonably spacious for 4 people. Although two of the beds are bunk beds they are roomy and have proper stairs to them.The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The swimming pool and whirlpool were lovely and warm. Available to use at an extra charge for hostel users. The restaurant provides a good breakfast and evening meal. The mushroom risotto was very tasty. There is. Games room with table football, table tennis and pool.

There was no staff, and it was difficult to find a room. The room and bedding were dirty. The price was completely inadequate for such conditions.

Good location on the road from Andermatt to Chur, we were travelling on motorcycles so very convenient for our route . Secure garage parking for the motorcycles with direct access to the hotel. Rooms were basic but very clean and comfortable . A supermarket is located beneath the building so food and drink can be purchased . A quiet stay. Very Cheap for Switzerland at £120 for the night for 3 persons room only.

Part of a larger holiday complex with good facilities. The room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. Underground parking at no extra cost. There is a coop and restaurant on site with wider options available in Disentis nearby.

This is an absolutely fabulous hostel for bike- and backpackers IMHO. Granted, it's fairly new by the looks of it, but nevertheless. It's beautifully located just outside Disentis centre, the facilities are second to none, COOP on the premises, secure bike storage, bike wash, the rooms with staggered beds, an excellent restaurant on the premises, the breakfast puts some hotels to shame, ... You simply cannot go wrong with the Catrina Hostel as far as I am concerned. I'll be back!

Excellent location, all new build and well equipped. A great shower, enough room for clothes, plenty of hooks and rails, a power shower. Supermarket at the area also restaurant , gorgeous views, a visitor card pass available and price covers ski lifts, trains, a very good value for money. A gondola takes you up the mountain where you find plenty to do from beautiful walks/ hikes to mountain biking trails to tobogan cars to a lake to swim in. We have thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay.

Breakfast was 1st Class, the room was spotless, and the shower was invigorating, all in all a perfect stay, thank you..!

“Great solution in Disentis, especially for families or sport holidays”

We stayed here several times. In my opinion this is the best overnight solution for families in Disentis. Cheap and convenient (room for 4 people, plus crib, available for free), extra clean, simple but well structured. LOT of water with great temperature and high pressure. Abundance of towels. Comfortable beds. VERY clean. Everything looks like brand new. Parking available in close proximity. We didn't have breakfast (not included).

Ideal location,with a CoOp downstairs. There’s also a restaurant,and the best value breakfast ever!! There’s a bike wash and huge secure bike storage room.

“Surprised stay”

Booked a one night room for a bike trip. For a hostel, I was very surprised, super clean, bike storage, bathroom in the room, TV, and guess what, great bed, and not even "creaked" when someone moves. Location was also a very good spot, the view of the glaciers, calm, green. You can eat thanks to a grocery at 1km from the hostel, but there are also restaurants in the area. So finally, of course you are not single in the room but for 40 bucks, it is really worth it.
