Beautiful old house and a pretty room. The operators are a very nice couple.

“A wonderful B&B”

The accommodation was very well organized and the arrival was superb. Parking was relatively easy to find nearby. The room was a bit small and not very soundproof, but very cozy, and tea and coffee were provided. We also liked the overall style reflected in the house and its furnishings. The shared bathroom and toilet were always clean. Breakfast was excellent; the order form filled out beforehand made choosing our personalized breakfast options much easier. All in all, the accommodation was very clean, in a quiet location, and the hosts were very friendly.

Erika and Francis were wonderful guest givers(10 of 10) , the B&B has a charm of its own and we where made to feel comfortbable. The building shows it is 600 years old but that makes the stay worth while the character of the building is given to the small details warmly laid out. The Tea selection immense and overwhelming but tasty.. for the price you cannot complain. the Breakfast was Wonderful. if ever being in the area again i would choose this definitely again.

Provision of a fan in the room was appreciated. Coffee maker made it special as did the generous breakfast. Clean, light with quirky decor in the common areas.

Lovingly furnished old house, friendly staff and delicious breakfast.

Everything we needed was there: a cozy room with comfortable bed, access to a shared bathroom, fresh towels and a little space and provision to have a cup of tea or coffee. We had a comfortable stay. We did not try the breakfast offer. There are a lot of lovely details to be discovered around the house.

“A clean, cute B&B with a distinctive character”

This property has plenty of charm and is located in a calm, beautiful village. I like all vintage and British things, so was really comfortable staying here. From here you can easily bike to all birding spots in Goeree-Overflakkee. The bathroom is shared but surprisingly clean. For breakfast you can order more than you could possibly eat/drink and with enough advance notice the hosts will accommodate any requests.

“Terrible!”

We arrived late in the evening and we informed abour it in advance. The keys were in the automatic boxes, but they didn't work. We could not get into the hotel. About two hours later we found the owner of the hotel. She behaved aggressively, shouted at us, said she would not give us the keys because the boxes were automatic and it was our problem that they did not open. She did not want to listen to us, shouted, threatened, etc. When I told her that we would not leave until she gave us the keys to the rooms we had paid for, she started shouting even more and threatening the police. Instead, I called the police myself, but unfortunately, they said that it was not a case of emergency and refused to respond to the call. As a result, the locals who helped us find the owner of the hotel asked us to leave and go to another hotel. It was a holiday weekend and late at night, all the hotels were closed, only at 3 am we found a hotel in Rotterdam and had to pay an additional 200 euros, although we had paid for that night. I fulfilled my obligations but could not get into the hotel. In addition, local residents reported that this problem with the hotel's automatic boxes happens almost every week, and the owner is well aware of the problem, but does nothing about it! I am extremely dissatisfied!

Hard to say anything wise, the hotel is unique, like the Weasley's home in the Harry Potter story. If you would like to detach from everyday reality for several hours, it is the place.

the atmosphere is amazing, the owners are really nice people, looks like a family business. the breakfast is amazing, many things to choose from. everything is local produce. tea and coffee are great. Rooms are simple but it’s a bnb in an old authentic house. what an experience! the town itself if magic too.
