In the rustic village of Dinnet in the heart of Royal Deeside, this family-run hotel is ideal for exploring the Highlands and tourist and sporting activities in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. On the edge of the Scottish Highlands, this Victorian hotel is the perfect base from which to explore the natural beauty of Scotland. There are many activities close by, including golf, skiing, fishing and stalking. Glenshee and the Lecht, 2 of the 5 Scottish ski resorts, are both approximately 30 miles from the hotel, with the necessary instruction and ski equipment available for hire.

“Good short break”
Stayed in the hotel a few times. First time in one of the lodges. The lodge was great. Clean and quiet.

“Fabulous enjoyable stay”
Myself my husband and dogs all stayed in the lodges. The lodge was clean had everything you could need lots of space! Lovely view of the Forrest!

Smoked haddock was obviously from a frozen block, swimming in water, tasteless and with a tough skin.

“Everything we wanted and more”
