The view from our room is such magnificent. It's absolutely highly recommended. The breakfast and ambiance were good. The staff are accommodating and very informative. The room is spotless and quiet spacious. We will definitely come back one day.

“Fantastic view hotel not great”

Location was really good but the hotel was strange in a lot of ways. Half the hotel has been sold off to private use so the hotel is only a small part of the building. From reception on street level you are faced with a flight of steep steps to carry your luggage up. No lift. If you want to go to the lower beach level there is a lift but to access it through the corridor no light can be found. Room was ok with balcony and fantastic view which was the main reason for booking but was woken in the early hours from some very noisy people in the private part of the hotel. Wouldn’t stay again.

Excellent location-right on the beach. The lift down to the beach was very useful. The breakfast was varied and had a lot of choice. The quality of the food served was better than I expected. The terrace outside the room was very spacious -with plenty of room to sit outside. The staff were,without exception, really friendly and helpful. The small fridge was a nice addition-especially useful during the summer months.

Public car park opposite and street parking nearby, or they have "pay for" parking. Lovely location over the beach and town accessible in minutes. Lovely balcony with views. Great choice for continental breakfast and plenty of it. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Good bathroom and shower, separate toilet. Fridge provided.

Our balcony overlooking the beach was fabulous - just what we were looking for - warm in the morning but cool in the evening. Breakfast was very generous and the team were all great to deal/interact with. It’s also a gem of 50s/60s style - if you fancy a little time travel the interior is fantastic- so glad they haven’t modernised it :)
