“River views on the Meuse”

A well equipped modern renovation on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a building on the outskirts of Dinant. Right on the river Meuse, and with parking too. The walk into town is less than 20 minutes, and there's lots to look at on the way. We found it quite comfortable and clean, equipped with the things we needed to cook, and with a plentiful supply of crockery, glasses and condiments. The welcome bottle of sparkling wine was the perfect way to ameliorate a somewhat difficult entry after the host sent us an incorrect door code and took 30 minutes to respond to our calls and messages. Beds are comfortable and the shower was hot and strong.  The washing machine and dishwasher worked well and Internet was reliable. The apartment was warm, even though the weather was mild. A fan was provided in the 2nd floor bedroom if required. The views both down and across the river from living room windows are lovely.

The apartment is very clean and modern and feels like it's been just recently renovated. A few beautiful pieces of antique oak furniture make it feel homely. The view from the kitchen dining room is stunning. The kitchen was very well equipped and included some essential provisions, like coffee and milk in the fridge. The walk into town along the river Meuse is very pleasant. There is a reserved car parking space next to the property.

Situation

“We had a lovely three days, making walks and visiting castles in the neighbourhood.”

The apartment is spacious, has a nice view and is well-equipped.

“Great place to stay”

Good location, about a 20 minute walk alongside the river into town. Well equipped and a secure location (in lower ground room) for motorcycle if required, otherwise parking off road next to the apartment in a reserved space. The apartment is in the roof space of the building, and the double doors at the bottom you can see in the photo are where it is possible to leave your bike (I left mine in the parking area).

The apartment was perfect in every way. Parking just outside, lovely view, spacious, shops for food within a walk, and a terrace by the river with chairs.

Very clean, very comfortable, plenty of room with 2 double rooms. Good parking, accommodated our Motorcycles very securely indoors.

“Quaint getaway”

The accommodation was clean, in good condition and it was handy to have a parking spot available. Reasonable walking distance to Dinant town centre and its amenities. Dinant has a lot of good produce to choose from, making the self catering facilities really handy.

Everything is fine :)) The facilities, the amenities and the cleanliness are superb. And most of all is the view of the riverside is so beautiful.

“Wonderful weekend with family”

The apartment was a great place to stay with family, especially as there were toys there that kept our kids entertained, as well as a cot and high chair provided. There is a great bath, as well as a washing machine/dishwasher. The host thoughtfully provides the basic things needed in the kitchen like butter, oil, etc to make it easier for you to prepare your own meals. The kitchen appliances are modern and we had everything we needed! The parking right next to the building was very convenient. As we were travelling with toddlers we did a lot of cooking at the apartment and I can recommend Maison Dozot for pre-prepared meals to heat up! It is a short walk from the apartment.

We liked all the facilities for our Baby. The bed, the Chair and the changing mat. You have a nice View on the River.

Lovely modern apartment with good facilities and location for amenities . Plenty of provisions left for us to use.

“Lovely quiet apartment with a great view”

A really lovely apartment- it was clean, large, well equipped, had a great view of the river and there were lots of beautiful touches that made this a great place to stay. Having a designated parking spot was a huge bonus for us too. Les rives de Sax is a little out of the main town, which for us was a perfect location.

The property was excellent and the location suited us perfectly. The underfloor heating made it very comfortable. The view of the river was good. A short walk into the town.
