A warm welcome from staff. We had travelled a long way we were tired dnd wanted to eat at the hotel, we were very pleasantly surprised, the food was delicious. We’ll definitely be staying there again , we asked for a ground floor room which was ideal as we had three dogs with us.

The staff are friendly, the manager is very capable, very helpful and friendly. I asked the the server in the restaurant if it's possible for the chef to cook something small for my toddler and they made it. It's also a very pet friendly hotel. Love it!

I often use Best Western Hotels for short stays and this one was equally enjoyable. I chose it for our last night in France as its very close to the Port of St Malo from where we were to depart the following day. The facilities do vary across this chain and I was pleasantly surprised to find a good sized pool and spa, which were both very clean. The hotel was easy to find, comfortable in every respect with onsite parking, a great benefit in France where parking is limited and expensive. The breakfast was very generously prepared with a range of food that would cater to almost everyone. Dinan has many attractions and one of the most enjoyable is the Old Port on the River Rance and its spacious marina. My wife had never sailed a boat, so we hired a little little electric dingy for an hour which she soon got the hang of and we went as far as the lock and also to the top of the river in the other direction. Its also less popular with tourists which gives it a more French feeling and its less congested than St Malo. The next morning before we headed for the ferry was spent at the farmers market and we bought all manner of regional treats that included saussison (French Garlic Sausage) from the area and a good quality Calvados, an apple Brandy thoughtfully transported from nearby Normandy where its quality is carefully controlled. The attractions in Brittainy are far too numerous to mention in this short overview of our hotel, but I must just mention my disappointment at not having time to re-visit the beauty of two chateau's, Chombord and Chenonceau in easy driving distance of Dinan which give an insight into the grand way the aristocracy lived in days gone by. That said it was time to head back the port to catch the ferry to our home in Jersey where another treat waited for us. The Jersey Vintage Car Club were also returning with a small fleet of beautifully prepared vintage cars, which brightened up the ferry car park no end!

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Paul the manager helped us many times. My mother has mobility issues and he got us a fantastic room that was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for him or the team! The ladies on the restaurant were lovely and welcoming and the food was delicious. A really relaxing stay.
