“Peaceful & quiet, good starting point for outdoor activities”

Cosy apartment for 2 people, adjacent to larger apartment, everything we needed, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, seating area outside to soak up the sun. Marijke, the owner, arrived to welcome us & showed us how everything worked. She is also a fountain of local knowledge, very friendly & accommodating. She was always available on WhatsApp, fortunately, everything was perfect. Variety of local well known grocery stores short drive from apartment with everything we needed to prepare food & BBQ. Location next to the canal on major cycling route connecting to the excellent Belgian & Dutch cycle networks. Use bespoke routes or design your own & drive to a convenient starting point.

We were able to check in early and checkout late, the host was very flexible; we really enjoyed the place even though we were mostly out. The host is very kind and helpful.

Very calm and serene area. No sound pollution that the only thing that can be heard is the birds singing. Same for light pollution, none. I don't think I've ever seen the stars this clearly, I've spent a lot of time just laying on the grass at the property's yard looking up. The place is very clean and has everything that one might need. The interior is very cosy and charming with wooden floor and windows above the bed and bathtub looking at the clear sky. Can't recommend the place enough!

Even before reaching the house, the location is BEAUTIFUL! It's a large straight street where people go to bike, with amazing houses and a ton of trees. The house itself is so cute and vintage. Everything was perfect, the decor, the bathroom with a very good bathtub, and mainly the bed. We slept like baby angels. Another thing we did love was the tableware, they were so cute that we couldn't helped but make a viral breakfast morning Belgium inspired travel video <3
