“Sumptuous accommodation and hosting”

We loved the uniqueness of the village and the clever way in which the guest house had been renovated. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was luxurious. Nicolas was a very empathetic host who perfectly knew how to behave and look after us. Plus his baking skills ( yummy apple cake and cheese pie) and the huge scrumptious breakfast left us feeling very special.

The room was spotless. The building is renovated and the room is equipped with new facilities. The fireplace adds a lot to the winter vibe. The breakfast was amazing, fulfilling, tasty and with a lot of homemade dishes. Olga was amazing, very kind and always with a smile! She makes staying there an amazing experience.

Everything. It is a rustic stone house built according to the Zagori tradition but renovated to the highest modern standards. Most importantly, Olga was a wonderful host. If there would be anything imperfect she would do her best to fix it.

The place is highly recommended: we had a cozy room in the traditional but well-renovated house of Dilofo village, with a comfy bed, a fireplace, fully equipped, great breakfasts, and a bunch of useful tips from the host (Marios was attentive and helpful, whether we needed to plan our route for the day trip, book a place for dinner or light a fireplace for us, etc.). Won't even be looking for other places to stay in Zagori — we'll definitely come back to 'Aithrio' to experience the spring-summer season in the region!

Wonderful hotel that is superbly maintained & managed by a special person who actually makes the place what it is. Dilofo- Staying in Zagorochoria means arriving at picturesque & preserved villages, which in most cases you leave the car in a parking lot at the entrance to the village. Peaceful Dilofo is no exception & has spacious parking lot, with the hotel is less than 200 meters away (If help is needed, kind assistance is always offered): To me, this fact isn't an issue, but a magic! Room (Kirkinezi)- guest comfort is top priority. Well lit by daylight, very pleasant, spacious, well maintained, tastefully furnished & has everything you need for a pampering stay: Well internal lighting, comfortable mattress, coffee & tea machine, minibar with water & drinks that is filled every day & is included in the room rate, great storage solutions, designed & modern shower room with all necessary equipment, proper water flow & soft towels. There is even an active fireplace in the room for cold days... Breakfast- Delicious, rich & varied, made by the host. Different pie is baked every day (spinach, cheese...), different eggs every day (omelet, fried...), rich Greek yogurt with fresh seasonal fruits, fresh vegetables, olives, homemade cakes, cheeses, cold meats, traditionally brewed jams, fresh breads, juice, butter.... I was even equipped for the rest of the day with some of these delicacies... Marios- Professional generous host, full of knowledge about the area who is responsible for this highest quality hospitality. Always available & makes you feel welcome with a sincere enthusiasm of a person who loves what he does.

It's one of the best places I've ever been to. It's a real boutique hotel with only 5 rooms so you are really taken care of. Feels at times like you're a VIP. Phenomenal breakfast and you're getting all the informations you could dream of - where to go, what to see, where to eat (and which places rather not to eat at). And all places we ate at were top notch. You're into hiking? The host will give you detailed information on any trek you'd like to hike as he's done it many times before. It's extremely cozy and feels more like family. The rooms are big enough, the stone walls are what dreams are made of, a work of art and everything is exceptional.

Nice and clean room in a old stone house in a very cute Zagori village. Marios was an amazing host. He gave us many very usful tips about the Vikos region and the rest of Greece. He also prepared a super delicious full breakfest every day with homemade pies, cakes, jams, eggs, joghurt and fruits. We loved it!

The hotel is AMAZING ! Beautiful refurbished building, made of wood and stone, VERY romantic. Marios run the entire place like a king. A very high level of hospitality. It’s set in an amazing and beautiful traditional settlement- Dilofo. The views from the village are exceptional looking out and across the area. You could not find a more peaceful location. The property is beautifully kept and Marios the owner is incredibly caring and does everything he can to make your stay amazing.

The daily breakfast was homemade, rich in variety, enough to feed twice as many people, and served with passion. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated and the beds very comfortable. The hotel itself has a great atmosphere and was perfectly located for our daily tours around Pindos. In conclusion: Great host, great place, great value for the money.

In a nushell: The room was very well equipped, cozy, clean and the bed really comfortable. There is a good ambience and nice vibes in all the areas of the property, lounge and the small tarrace. The breakfast was great and balanced. Marios, who is the owner, made us feel at home while he gave us really helpful tips for our excursions. Its really important that he cares a lot to provide his guests with high level hospitality. The location of the village that the property is located is really good if you want to wander and visit some small villages of Zagorochoria.
