“Great budget accommodation for Dili”

This establishment is a first floor cafe/restaurant/bar with a small amount of accommodation thrown in. It is conveniently located next door to the main campus of National University of East Timor, almost directly across the road from the National Parliament (which backs onto the Government Palace), one block down the road from the Archives & Museum of East Timorese Resistance, and one block south of the waterfront. My single room was spacious with an ensuite bathroom, and although there was no aircon, it had a good fan. The staff were very friendly, and I can recommend the mee goreng for breakfast. There are also other food outlets nearby, including a small food court in the ground floor of the same building.

“Go to a hotel instead 😔”

Wifi does not work (can only get it when her friend comes by to hotspot you), water was not always running, facilities are not particularly clean etc.

Great location and lovely atmosphere. Clean simple rooms and great value money for Dili.

Mattress on the floor, no sink in room, just toilet and shower, no one on reception at night and no other people staying here. The front door was open to a busy street, completely unlocked so anyone could stroll in. Felt so unsafe that I had to leave at 10pm to find another accommodation option.

Location is very strategic, behind the palacio and only short walk to the beach for sunset view. There are lots of restaurant and coffee shop nearby to choose from. Only a minute walk to the museum. Staf was very Nice and let me Rent his bike to go around. Overall this is Good value of money for a short stay

It was cheap. And close to plenty of shops and couple of minutes to the water.

Fantastic value, friendly and helpful management and great central location. Relaxed student hangout, funky space and the coffee is superb. Can’t ask for much more at these rates.

“Great value & location”

This is a new budget option in Dili, attached to a restaurant and bar popular with Timorese uni students, and good for people watching from the balcony. Basic but very clean lodgings with fan and cold shower were sufficient. Very accommodating owners. Excellent location downtown. Cheap airport transfers and scooter hire.
