“Luxe cabin in green oasis.”
The cabin interior was finished to a very high spec and was very clean. Bathroom with walk-in shower, good water pressure. Good sized fridge, 2x electric hob, kettle, coffee machine and all pots/pans/utensils.Plenty of seating outside the cabin. Air-con was a real plus. The gardens are beautiful and the duck pond very lively. Plenty of space between each cabin so it still feels peaceful. PLUS supermarket nearby for groceries.

“Fantastic chalet and nice stay.”
It was a wonderful experience. We spent two nights there and everything was excellent. It's a calm place to disconnect, with an amazing view. The chalet was very clean and cozy. Host was very friendly. We also appreciated the fact there is a barbecue in the garden.

“A perfect autumn getaway in nature!”
My boyfriend and I spent a wonderful weekend at this charming wooden lodge, and we couldn't have asked for a more serene and relaxing experience. Surrounded by beautiful nature, the peaceful atmosphere was a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The lodge itself was cozy, warm, and perfectly nestled among the trees. We especially loved waking up to the sounds of nature, including the adorable small ducks that often wandered nearby. It felt like a true retreat where you could disconnect and unwind. The views were stunning, and the natural surroundings provided plenty of opportunities to explore and enjoy the outdoors. Our hosts were absolutely fantastic! They were welcoming, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. A lovely bonus was being able to purchase their homemade honey, which was delicious and made the experience feel even more personal. For future guests, I highly recommend this lodge for anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled escape. Whether you're here for a romantic getaway or simply to relax in peaceful solitude, this is the perfect spot. We can't wait to come back!

“Highly recommended!”
A calm and quiet place. A small lake hosting a bunch of ducks just a few meters from houses. Plenty of well trim plants and grass. Hi quality, comfortable and very well thought little houses. All in all, a truly amazing place to stay.

“One of the best and most relaxing accommodations I’ve ever stayed in!”
The lodge was super clean and the interior was exceptional comfortable. Everything is thought through and you’re not missing anything. The hosts Peter and Monique are super friendly and help you anytime. Peter will give you information about the surrounding area or just some good words to start your day right. There is a very well kept garden with a pond and ducks in front of the lodges where you can have a BBQ or just relax while watching the ducks. We totally recommend this place and would love to come back again.

“Wonderful, peaceful stay”
Quiet location, plenty of parking for guests. Great spot to use as a base for a road trip around the Netherlands/Belgium. We loved how peaceful the garden was- enjoyed watching all the birds in the pond and at the feeders in the morning. The cabin was so comfortable- such a well-planned design to fit everything into such a compact floorplan and it still felt roomy! The bed was extremely comfortable and we were happy to have kitchen to prepare a few meals in. The hosts were incredibly kind on both arrival and check out- 100% would recommend Appel Lodge to others looking for a peaceful stay.
