Exxeptional experience to stay in that 130 years old house, feels like time machine visiting the past. Everything was good, very comfortable bed, sheets and pillow. Each side of bed was adjustable by remote.

A beautiful old house with a fantastic friendly host. This is the place to go to if you want not just a bed to rest your head, but friendships to make. (A major bonus if you can align your stay with a completely unrelated party for international class musicians!)

Really nice place with a great host. Had a fantastic time. The apartment has a lot of space and is more then great to spend a long weekend. Just to keep in mind, the crossroad Infront of the place is quite busy. So if you are a light sleeper maybe take some earplugs and a sleeping mask. I am but with this it was a great pleasure to stay here!

This house has personality. Lots of wood, decorated with African sculpting, lots of books, fresh flowers... The house was really a home to me during the 10 days that I stayed here.

Great apartment, living room with kitchenette, bedroom with ensuite and even a small terrace. The place feels like a home away from home. The hosts were very warm and welcoming.

A large property, very comfortable in a small green town! Location, although a bit far from Apledoorn and quite near Arnhem, is quiet, peaceful in a friendly neighbourhood! Mr. Constans, the owner, is a lovely and relaxed person that makes you feel like one of his family. Communication was perfect from the beginning. Cant wait to visit it again!

The location was fine. It was in a very quiet village so you could sleep soundly. This place was like hanging out with your crazy uncle, you know the eccentric one that your parents would be skeptic about since there was so much stuff in the house. Very different from any standard pension. Every corner of the house was filled with books and paintings and old items. The host was very nice, invited us in offered us coffee, gave us tips of where to go and eat. The rooms were spacious.

The apartment is huge. The location is 5 minutes on foot from Dieren station, from where one can reach large parts of the Netherlands within one to two hours. The old part of Dieren is a really nice small village. The apartment is a few minutes walk from the beautiful IJssel river and of course in the middle of one of the most beautiful parts of the Netherlands.

I enjoyed that the description/pics on booking com did match with reality. We had a great staying in a very pleasant surrounding with a very sympathetic host. Thank´s a million, Frits!
