“Stunning villa from the outside, home from home on the inside.”

Friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble, literally service with a genuine smile. Adapted to our eating preferences extremely quickly and cooked some amazing food (some times at short notice). The property has character and taste, extremely well appointed and kept in immaculate order. Beautiful views and access to the beach.

Our family of 5 adults and 3 children (9,7,2) had a wonderful time at Villa Abiman. The house was as gorgeous as it looks in the photos with the facilities, bedrooms, indoor and outdoor areas all set up for maximum enjoyment and all presented beautifully. The staff were excellent, managed by Mr Jerome who oversaw all aspects of the house. Every meal was fantastic (recommend seafood BBQ!) ... The guest's kitchen was great although not needed for anything except making an early morning coffee and drinks, because everything was provided for so well. I loved the commitment to sustainability - this house being the only place in Sri Lanka we didn't have to use bottled water. Booking was also easy, and Jonas very responsive. The beach is unsuitable for swimming/surfing - even for the hardiest as it's very rough but the sand is nice and it's a good length for walking, exploring and general enjoyment. It's also lovely to hear the waves all night. I'd go back in a heartbeat - just need to find enough friends to fill the 4 bedrooms.

“Luxury villa with exceptional views and the best villa staff.”

The villa itself was incredibly big, spacious and airy and decorated beautifully. It worked wonderfully for our family of 5 but could have absorbed another family with ease. We loved walks on the beach, playing football in the bottom garden and spending time in the pool. The staff were wonderful. Ever present and making sure we were happy but also allowing us to feel that the villa was our own. The meals prepared by the chef were brilliant and incredible value compared to local restaurants. He managed all manner of fussiness and everything is cooked from scratch and is healthy with enormous amounts of variety in every meal. Breakfasts were huge and we never needed lunch. There really is no need to eat out. Local swimmable beaches are a drive away but there are lots of options. We were never bored. Truly a wonderful villa with exceptional staff.

“A perfect stay in this gem of a place”

This place is truly exceptional. A really paradise. The building itself is divine but, what really makes it, at the splendid staff who are endlessly attentive. The food is simply the best we have had in Sri Lanka so would highly advise eating lunch and dinner here too! What a shame we are leaving- we would have jumped at staying longer!
