We had the most incredible one-night stay at SD3M Art Gallery Villa. The space is absolutely stunning, tucked just up the stairs from Shiran’s art gallery. Every detail has been thoughtfully created, with the most beautiful handcrafted furniture that Shiran has carved and built himself - it truly feels like staying inside a piece of art. Everything about the villa was exceptional, but the bathroom was definitely our favourite. The waterfall shower was such a special touch and made the whole experience feel luxurious and unique. Shiran and his whole family were so warm, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we arrived - welcoming us with such warmth and even fresh mango drinks. Shiran went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable - taking us surfing, swimming with sea turtles, and even showing us a lovely spot for dinner. His kindness and generosity made such a difference to our experience. We are so grateful for the amazing memories we created during our stay in this beautiful place. Our only complaint is that we didn’t stay long enough! It was truly special, and we will definitely be returning. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Our stay with Shiran and his lovely family was definitely the highlight of our Sri Lanka trip. The room was beautifully designed (all by Shiran himself), and the whole place had such a great vibe. Shiran even took extra time to show us around his village, which was very special. The breakfast his wife prepared was absolutely delicious, and the location is close to Turtle Point, our favourite beach in Dikwella. We were very happy with our stay at SD3M Art Gallery Villa and we will most definetly come back!

Tree trunks surrounded by plants, artfully aranged by Methuli;s father, a master craftsmen who has created an indoor garden that provides the illusion of living in a jungle. The family is very friendly and spares no effort to please and ensure the guest is always looked after. Delicious breakfast.

Unique place run by very nice family. You get to stay in an art gallery with all kinds of art the owner Shiran did from woods he found in the local area. The bathroom itself is an experience. The family are so kind and welcoming, they even invited me to their own house nearby to see village life and local temple, and prepared a super lunch on my last day I give them my best recommendations.
