Amazing hosts - generous, warm and always ready to help with anything. Greeted every morning with delicious breakfast (at time of our choosing) and a smile. Awesome location, a few minutes walk from the beach (with wild sea turtles). Comfy beds. AC in one room and fans in both (we were in separate family cabin). Incredible value. Highly recommend!

I felt like home there. Amazing breakfast, comfy bed, room with air-conditioner and also hot shower. Its a lovely family who is running this accommodation. They are well focused on the guest needs. I highly recommend this place - I have extended my stay several times (as my flight got cancelled and I had more days to stay there 🥰)

The value for money is incredible. Such a lovely and spacious room, an amazing location just 2 minutes from turtle point. The hosts and their son were so welcoming, kind and friendly. They did all of our washing and cooked the most amazing breakfast. They are such a kind and lovely family. I would highly recommend to anyone and just a 5 minute taxi to Hiriketiya. This accommodation was amazing value for money, the room and house was the cleanest place I have ever stayed in , bed was super comfortable and the owners and his family were incredibly nice and very helpful, and last but not least was the breakfast, fit for a king and queen

We loved staying here. It’s a minutes walk from turtle point which was perfect. The family here is so sweet and caring. Their son Sahan communicated with us via what’s app before arriving and also throughout the stay as he relays the information to his beautiful parents, Ajith and Ranukar who are the hosts. Their other son Sahara is a tuk tuk driver and we used him to take us to and from Hiri when we went in for dinner etc. Sahan also drove us to Mirissa. Everything was easy to organise with them. They have a great set up with all of the guest rooms on the 2nd story of their house along with a fridge and kitchen if you need to use it. We noticed a cottage out the back as well. We had the deluxe double room with the best balcony area overlooking the mango tree. The room is really clean and comfortable. The aircon works well. The bathroom is a wet bathroom but it’s big enough that the toilet doesn’t get wet from the shower, plus they provide a floor squeegee to use. Breakfast was varied every morning and lots of delicious options. They also have a laundry service. We would stay here again and definitely recommend this lovely homestay.

We spent 4 nights in total at KingCoco House and we felt at home from the very first minute onwards. The house is located in a very local area (including local barking dogs at night 😉), it was clean, had warm water, and very attentive & lovely hosts. The turtle beach was just a 3 Minutes walk away from the accommodation. 10/10 would recommend for those who want to experience an authentic stay whilst being in Dikwella :)

We stayed at a homestay near Dickwella and it was a really beautiful place, kept exceptionally clean. The room was comfortable, and having a private bathroom with hot water was a big plus. The location was also perfect. It took us about four minutes to walk to Dickwella Beach, so the beach was basically right around the corner. What made the stay stand out most, though, was the kindness of the hosts. They were genuinely sweet and helpful throughout. When we were leaving to catch the bus onwards to Hikkaduwa, the father drove into Dickwella town to track the bus so we’d know exactly when it was coming, and we could be ready to flag it down on the road. That was incredibly thoughtful and made our departure so much easier. We would definitely stay here again and can warmly recommend it.

“Worth it!”

King CoCo is situated near the Turtle Beach where you can easily see turtles! There are free sunbeds to! its like 10 min to hiriketiya with the tuktuk or 45 walking along the beach The room isnt big but a bed is all you need! The breakfast was perfect! Really tasty and delicious. The best thing about this was the family. They were so nice. One of the nicest familys we met on Sri Lanka. They even helped us to get the bus which isnt always easy for foreigners. And for that price such an amazing breakfast!!! Thank you again!

“Lovely stay at King CoCo House”

My stay at King CoCo House was great. The house is surrounded by trees in which I saw a couple of monkeys once which was amazing. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. The room and house in general was very clean. The freshly made, homemade breakfast was delicious and a lot! It was only a short walk (2 minutes) to the beach and a couple of restaurants. There are also always TukTuks to go into town, otherwise a walk is like 15-20minutes.

We had a wonderful stay at King Coco House. The accommodation is perfectly located, just a three-minute walk from Turtle Beach. The host was incredibly welcoming—we were greeted with a drink and snacks, and he even allowed us to extend our checkout until we continued our journey. Although we only stayed for one night, it was a truly great experience.

This is my first time traveling alone. I chose this place by my heart. It's a beautiful house where I was welcomed by good caring hosts - Mrs Renuka and Mr Ajith. This house is clean and spacious. The design, furniture, and window shutters are impressed, and it's a pleasure to step barefoot inside the house, drink hot tea on the balcony during the rain, and enjoy the beauty of nature. From my room, I could hear the gentle sound of the ocean. The room has everything I need. I got sunburned several times, and the caring hosts gave me aloe to help me. The breakfasts are hearty and delicious, and they cater to your preferences. My favorite is shown on the photo (Helapa) Sahan is- the eldest son of hosts. He arranged for me to be picked up and dropped off at the airport, and he also took me on to many interesting tours. The ocean is next to the house. it is 5 minutes’ by walking - you can enjoy on the beach or swim in the ocean with amazing animals - huge and gentle turtles. Also on this beach you can see amazingly beautiful sunset. As a farewell, I was treated to a local curry dish for dinner. If you stay here, be sure to taste Mrs Renuka's curry. I would love to return

“This accommodation is the best you will find!”

We had a fantastic stay with the family. They were so unbelievably sweet and helpful. The breakfast was soooo good. Turtle beach is a lovely relaxed beach where we swam with the turtles. Hiriketiya beach is also perfect. And please eat at The Good kitchen at turtle beach. The food is delicious and the service the best!

Such a nice host , spacious clean room , the breakfast was huge and amazing , tea and coffee offered throughout our stay, we only stayed one night but would stay another if we could! Recommend it!
