The dorms were comfortable and had their own bathroom inside. The luggage storage is huge and has hooks to hang your clothes. Very useful. Staff was lovely

Location was great, just about 7 min from the beach. The owner is really friendly, he helped us to arrange transfer to the airport. Western breakfast is included and it’s perfect option for a day or two.

“Comfortable night in homestay with local family”

We had a wonderful stay at this part hostel, part homestay. Hosts were really friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and tasteful. Value for money this exceeded my expectations. Location wise this is right in the middle of everything you want to be in Hiriketiya, close to the beach and next to plenty of restaurants.

We had a great stay at New Radiant house. The location is great, facilities are all quite basic but they work well (including aircon and hot water). Daily breakfast is delicious and they gave us some good recommendations for local beaches and surf lessons. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Location was okay! We enjoyed our breakfast especially the hoppers and dhal were great.

“Lovely stay”

Perfect location, slightly out the hustle and bustle but still only 5mins to the beach. The staff were very friendly and helped us arrange onward travel.

“Incorrect info”

I booked a room with air conditioning, but upon check-in I was given a room with only a standing fan and was told that my booking was incorrect. As a result, I had to cancel and find alternative accommodation, which put me in a very difficult situation. The staff member I dealt with was uncooperative and initially unwilling to offer a suitable alternative room. Only when I was leaving did they attempt to offer a different room at the same price. I hope this situation does not happen to other guests in the future.
