“A warm, friendly, comfortable place to stay”
Everything was honestly so nice here! The owners are the nicest people, and you can eat really amazing food that she makes all by herself. (It’s also very affordable and so convenient because you can just order it right to your door.) We had actual air conditioning, which can be hard to find in Sri Lanka as backpackers. You’re also just a 10-minute walk from the beach and places like Dots, where you can go out and party. If you go to the other side, you’re about a 5-minute walk from many local restaurants, which were all very nice as well. Honestly, the nicest people and such a cute place to stay! I would definitely recommend it and would book this again myself when we come back!

There are a lot of great things to say about this place. First the location is amazing. a few minutes walking fro dickwella beach which is an amazing beach to lounge and swim and a few minutes walking from hiri, where you can surf and all the buzz happens. The hosts were nothing but amazing. Kind, nice and helpful and every morning I had an amazing breakfast being cooked for me when I cam back from sports. The room itself is simple but it fits its purpose. Ac works well and here is a mosquito net

“Great food, great stay, great host, great price!”
Mama was the most inviting and helpful person we have met in Sri Lanka. Her recommendations for food (Priyankas restaurant) and activities were second to none. She helped us rent a scooter for a great price. She even let us watch and learn how to make our delicious Sri Lankan breakfast with her. Cannot recommend her and her homestay enough. What a wonderful place and with such a lovely family. We hope to come back soon!

“Lovely stay in Hiriketiya!”
Lovely hosts who were very welcoming and so helpful, we had a delicious varied breakfast each morning! Room was clean and comfortable, good mosquito net and AC. Location was great for both town and the beach, they helped us arrange a Tuktuk to turtle point and our next accomodation. Super cute animals! Would recommend!

“Incredible local stay 10/10!”
Wow, this was the best experience in Sri Lanka for us! The room is decent, clean and good, but the hosts make all the difference. We were invited for the birthday of the hostess’s husband, with cake and their complete family. Such a loving family, and the breakfast was 10/10. Really recommend to book here, and no this is not a sponsored review 😂 Thank you so much Helena and family 🩷🩷🩷
