“Fantastic stay!”

We had a wonderful stay at the property. Our room and en-suite bathroom were lovely and large and spacious. We had a nice kitchen area and water available to fill up our bottle each day. The location itself was very nice and quiet at the top of a hill, but still very close to the Main Street where the nearby bars and restaurants were, which was exactly what we were looking for, and about a 10 minute walk from the beach. I would highly recommend staying!

Incredibly warm hosts that made us feel very welcome. They picked us up from where our taxi dropped us off and we were able to leave our bags there after checkout. The location was perfect, just off the main road with the beach about 5-10mins away. The room was spacious and clean and very peaceful. Would definitely recommend, thank you so much!

“Modern accomodation close to the centre”

The owner was incredibly kind and even took the time to show us around the city. The accommodation is perfectly located within walking distance of the beach and just steps away from the bus stop, making it very convenient for getting around. The beds were comfortable, and there was an outdoor clothes rack for towels. We appreciated having drinking water available nonstop in the kitchen and enjoyed the privacy of our own entrance. Overall, everything was great—no complaints at all!

I har a wonderful time staying here! Surani is a ray of sunshine and made me feel so welcome and right at home (so did Ginger the adorable little dog). Well equipped kitchen, spacious room, hot shower, super clean, quiet fan, comfortable bed, everything was great! The bathroom and kitchen is only shared between two rooms, so most of the time it felt like I had the whole apartment to myself! It’s nice and quiet at night - I had some of the best sleeps of my whole trip in that bed. It might seem a bit out of the way but it really isn’t. Hiriketiya is tiny - you can walk anywhere in minutes. If you are looking for a clean and comfortable place to land for a little bit, this is it! Very good value for money.

I highly recommend this place! The room and common areas are very clean and nice. The homestay is located close to tourist attractions, yet hidden on a side road, making it a very quiet and peaceful location. It's a truly calming and relaxing area of Hiriketiya. The best part was the wonderful owners—a very welcoming and heartwarming couple who are always ready to help with anything you need! I originally planned to stay for three days but ended up extending my stay to three weeks :) I can't recommend this place enough and will definitely be back one day!

“Home away from home!”

The best homestay I’ve ever stayed in! It’s a fairly new building, super clean, hot water (don’t think you’ll get it hotter anywhere else in SL) in the spacious shower, the common area is fully equipped, bedroom even has a closet and the hosts are the most kind and loving persons ever. Location is perfect: on a quiet side road, lot of restaurants and cafes nearby and not even a 10 minutes walk to the beach. I’ll definitely come back here!

We Stayed at fairline gardens for 4 nights. First of all the host Surani is amazing the sweetest lady you Will ever meet. She went out of her Way to make sure we had the greatest stay. The Room were Nice, clean and comfortable. Also dont be scared by their dog ginger, she’s a sweetheart she just need to get to know you. Overall an amazing stay would highly reccomend

My husband and I traveled to Sri Lanka in February 2024. We stayed in more than 10 guesthouses and hotels during our trip. And I can confidently say that this one is one of the best. The owners of the house are wonderful, hospitable people who speak excellent English and are always ready to communicate and help. The room is bright, clean, with a large window. There is soap, bottled drinking water, beautiful white linens, hot water in the bathroom, and a clean kitchen with new dishes, refrigerator and stove. This is an example of a home where everything is thoughtfully designed and the owners really care about the guests. The house is located in a quiet place, not on the main road. But it is only 2-3 minutes away from the beach by bike.
