Our large family stayed at Cinnamon House for 5 days at first, booked 4 rooms. Two had hot water, two did not. But we arranged it, and we decided to stay for our entire vacation - 14 days. Badra, the hostess of the house, and all members of her family were welcoming and friendly. We ordered quite a few breakfasts, which we liked, varied and tasty. In addition, we could use the kitchen, refrigerator and a large table, just right for our dear company. The territory is well-kept, beautiful. Badra was so kind that she helped us find a tuk-tuk, and we went to the sea in 5 minutes, when we did not want to walk in the heat. We were pleased with our stay at Cinnamon House!

“A lovely homestay the family are the best”
The owners are super nice. We loved having breakfast every morning with the lady of the house. The food was excellent and portions were so huge we didn't need lunch. It's crazy value for money. Good mozzie net. You could use her kitchen if you wanted, and some guests put food in her fridge.

I had a lovely stay at Cinnamon House, which is a beautiful homestay just off the main road to Dikwella. Incredibly friendly family who made lots of useful suggestions. The house has a lovely garden which provides a relaxing environment as you're surrounded by nature.

“A nice stay with kind people and a good location!”
we were warmly welcomed by the family that runs the homestay. we received tea and coffee and an explanation about the cinnamon trees. we had the bamboo room with private bathroom. the bathroom was spacious and the bedroom has 2 side tables and a large drying rack & mosquito net. we had breakfast there and got large portions and delicious fruit :) To get to the village you have to walk along the road, although luckily it is only a short distance. After this, you can walk straight into the pleasant street with all kinds of eateries and you will be on the beach in no time. In short, a nice stay with kind people and a good location. possibility to eat there or use the kitchen. the owner asked for feedback, to which we could only think of a non-working light.

Very helpful and welcoming owners, spacious room with big bed, outdoor bathroom and a cozy patio (surrounded by a beautiful garden). For Sri Lanka quiet strong WiFi. We slept very good and we enjoyed observing many monkey in the morning while having breakfast.

This is the best guesthouse me and my friends ever been to! Staying with Badra and her family was amazing, so kind hearted people. Very close to everything you need and nice accommodation surrounded by the nature. We felt very safe and taken care of. Would really recommend staying here if you’re going to Hiriketiya!

“Lovely family and super nice room”
Big nice and very clean room with outdoor shower. Big bed, very quiet, good nice and a beautiful and calm garden with some cute monkeys. The family is veeery lovely and take care of you and make you feel at home so fast. So affordable price for such an amazing place! The breakfast was amazing and very big, the coconut pancakes are lovely! Stay here when you come to hiriketiya!!
