I really loved the location it is between Hiriketiya and Dickwella beach. Close to everywhere. Owner was kinda friendly. Maybe the AC rooms are better.

We had a comfortable stay and we really liked the location because it was in the middle of Hiriketiya beach and Dickwella beach! Owner was friendly!

The property is well maintained. It's big compared to other places where I've stayed. There's parking, a lobby, a small kitchen, an ironing board, WiFi, hot water, fridge, tables to eat, plenty of room to sit, chat or relax.

Cheap and location is alright, 10 min walk will bring you to closest beach, a lot of places to get things needed around the hostel. Home owner was nice and helped with every request. WiFi was mostly good

The host was helpful and kind. I arrived later at night and he helped to settle me in, ended up paying extra for AC because of them mosquitoes! There was no net, the property had everything you need, large bed, shower, toilet etc all the basics. It was a bit unclean unfortunately, not too bad but worth mentioning. Some stain on the pillow case and bugs, cobwebs, dust etc. like I said, not horrible but could’ve done with a dusting. Thank you! The host helped with my bus also and let me check out a little later 🙏 it’s in a great area, some food spots around, close to the beach and not far from the main bus station :)

“Good budget place that could use renovation”

We booked 2 rooms: one with AC+private bathroom and one with a fan+private bathroom. AC room is very recommended, since the day heat is no joke. The rooms are a bit small with not much place to put your things, but for 1-2 nights should be enough. The room with the fan could bring the temperature to the norm for sleeping at night, but it wasn't sufficient for the daytime. Another drawback of the room with the fan is a dark bathroom. Enough to shower, but shaving or applying makeup would be challenging. AC room has it better. The host is friendly and helpful. For a fee the laundry service did a good washing of the clothes. Common kitchen area was nice, but you need to request the cups, dishes and utensils to be provided. The kitchen is shared for 3 rooms, but since we took 2 and one room was empty, it was all for us. Even if not cooking, the area is great for taking food go-to in the nearby restaurants (which was just 1.5$ per large portion) and eating there. Location-wise it isn't too far from the beach, the supermarket, which also sells alcohol and market stalls with vegetables. All of this is within 15 mins of walking.

Good spot, basic room, is just off the main road so a little noise but slept fine. Easy check in, friendly staff. Close to beach and restaurants.
