Location was great and the area felt quiet and safe, great access to beaches and short Tuk Tuk from Hiriketiya. The hosts were friendly and quick to respond to any questions. The cabin is equipped with kitchenware which we found rare in our trip so this was a nice addition. The breakfasts were decent standard, not the best we had in our trip but not the worst.

The cabin including outside area was great, hosts were very nice and breakfast was amazing!

The wooden villa was beautiful and spacious, there is even a small kitchen in the inside. The best part was the breakfast, which was huge, variate and delicious. We highly recommend this place :)

The setting here is stunning, surrounded by lush tropical greenery with a beautiful sea view in the background. The villa had everything we needed, fridge, air con, a really comfy bed and a lovely refreshing shower. It’s run by a warm, welcoming family who couldn’t have been more friendly or attentive. The mum is an incredible cook and served some outstanding food, the breakfast was an absolute feast! It’s only around a 10 minute tuktuk ride to the main coastal areas, so the location is really convenient too. I’d happily recommend this place to family, friends and anyone looking for a safe, comfortable and scenic spot to stay for a few nights. Best wishes, Dan

“Calm and cozy stay near the beach”

Great place, just a few meters from the beach. Several other beaches are also within walking distance. The area is calm and not in the middle of tourist crowds, which makes it easy to relax. The accommodation is decorated with a lot of care, and we felt very comfortable. The host was friendly and very thoughtful. We felt truly looked after. Breakfast was also really good. On our first day we were sick, and they even adjusted the breakfast to be easier on the stomach.

Perfect stay in nature. The house is well equipped, so private and in a beautiful setting. The location is just a short walk from a local beach, so quiet and calm. Podii was very welcoming and brought us dinner and breakfast, thanks for a great stay!

The treehouse is just a 5-minute tuk-tuk ride from the trendy Hiriketiya Beach, and a bit further lies the peaceful Dickwella Beach. Both really nice beaches ⛱️ Located in a quiet residential area, the house provides everything you need, including air conditioning, a mosquito net, hot water, and even a private kitchen. The ideal place in Sri Lanka for a relaxing and romantic stay!

The owners and their children were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The well-equipped kitchen was a great bonus, and they even provided drinking water. “Absolutely nice and quiet place to stay some days!”

Absolutely beautiful and quiet accommodation with a large property! We felt totally at home here and had very, very nice hosts. In the morning there was breakfast Sri Lankan style. If required, we also booked a very tasty lunch or dinner. The price-performance ratio of the accommodation was the best we have had in Sri Lanka so far. A huge property with a cozy hut. We rented a scooter from the host for a small fee and with it we were able to explore the surrounding. 1 km away is a long, very quiet beach where is practically nothing going on except for a few surfers. The waves are particularly suitable for beginners and two surf rental shops and two bars / restaurants are right on the beach. Hiriketiya Bay (2 km) can be reached by tuktuk or bike in under 10 minutes. What we liked most about the accommodation was the not so touristy surroundings and the quiet beach as well as the large property that we had to ourselves. We immediately extended our stay twice!

Breakfast is amazing, so much homemade Sri Lankan breakfast food - literally an overture of local breakfast goodies! The place is delightfully tucked away and private and there's a great view of the sea.
