“Did not get to see the room”

Did not get to even see the room as the instructions given to enter the room did not work for me. Called the owner who asked that I drive across the island to her cleaner to collect the keys at 9pm. I refused to do that and demanded a refund for which I’m being fought on to collect by the owner- $1488.71 xcd! I asked prior if I needed to come early in the day for someone to show me the room and was told I didn’t have to. Had I done so, I would not have ad this horrible experience. Imagine now you’re telling me I won’t get back my money.

Beautiful view. We really enjoyed mornings and sunsets on the balcony. The pool was great to cool off in, and our kids were able to swim and have fun while the adults relaxed. The walk to the beach was short, although walking up the hill was a bit longer. You won’t mind it if you’re fit, but we always found easy parking when we took the car to the beach, so either way is easy. The wifi over the entire property was a nice bonus, too!

The property is located in a quiet location which makes it perfect if you are looking for a chilled holiday. I would suggest renting a car if you stay there. They have their own parking. Location is good, 5 minutes by car from Dickinson bay beach which is absolutely stunning.

No breakfast, fantastic view and good pool.

The apartments are located on a hill which provide great views of Dickenson Bay. There is a communal pool and seating area which is an added bonus. The beach is walkable and would take 10-15 mins going but 20-30 returning due to the afore mentioned hills. A car is recommended as the nearest shops are a 5-10 min drive.

The location of the apartment is superb with amazing sea views and easy access to local restaurants and the beach at Dickenson Bay. The Halcyon Heights complex is very quiet and private with a nice pool and sun terrace. It is mixture of residential and holiday lets and the overall atmosphere is friendly and relaxing.

It was difficult to find, despite the instructions. Two steep flights of stairs with heavy luggage was not fun in 30 degree heat. No air con - so the place was an oven. It did not feel particularly clean. Neighbours dogs barking for ages. People talking loudly outside at 3am. As a single woman traveller, I did not feel safe there. A very long walk to the beach. I moved out as soon as I could and headed down to the beach resorts - so much better.

great area that felt really authentic Caribbean as apposed to other villa/apartments we saw that were very plain and westernised. It was perfect for what we needed for a little long weekend, but we didn’t cook anything there so can’t comment on what it would be like to stay longer and cater. Great views, right by the pool. 2 bedrooms, clean and well stocked. over all very happy and would stay again if returning to the island.
