“A quiet Paradies in an authentic Colombian village”

Margarita is a true treasure! She organized everything for us and it was so interesting to talk to her! Her dogs are just gorgeous. We were looking for a quiet and relaxing spot and that us what we found. Be aware that you are in a true Colombian village. There are not many options for restaurants etc.

“We wanted to stay forever!”

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at La Candelaria. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and well-equipped with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The location is amazing - 2 minutes from the gorgeous and quiet beach, a few minutes walk into the fishing town of Dibulla where there are a few restaurants, shops and a beach bar. Margarita, the host, is the loveliest woman - always going above and beyond to help and also brilliant to talk to. We extended our stay because we wanted to stay forever! We will definitely come back next time we visit Colombia. Amazing value for money, especially for this part of the country. Highly recommend!!

“A small paradise in Dibulla”

Everything was exceptional. The house an example of Colombian architecture, spacious and clean. Magnificent outdoor space with hammocs and a refreshing small pool. Walking distance to the village. Our host Marga is a wonderful and cultivate person who was next to us for everything we needed. If you want to get relax vibes in a quiet and not touristic carribean village this is the place. Thank you Marga!

“Genuine serenity”

Every attention to detail was made by margarita to ensure we had a lovely stay in this artistic and elegant home which is fully partitioned to give you a cosy and private living space. Meanwhile Dibulla is a genuine locals coastal town with a peaceful and tranquil beach that you get virtually all to yourself to watch the fishermen at work, also calm enough to swim short distances. Local shops are available if you walk 10 mins into town... there's only a couple of restaurants and hotel bars by the beach in town, that's about it so if, like us, you're looking for genuine serenity you'll find it here!

We had the best time at La Candelabra. Margarita was an incredible host from start to finish and we are so grateful for her kindness - she genuinely went above and beyond to help us with anything and everything. At the end of the front garden, you cross the road and you're on the beach! And when you're done after a swim, you have a pool and hammocks to relax in. We spent 3 days here after and before a more chaotic part of travelling and it was perfect! We couldn't recommend it more highly. We used the kitchen for breakfast, lunch and dinner - it's perfect. And when we didn't fancy cooking, Margarita recommended and organised lunch and dinner from local businesses. The house is designed beautifully and we loved all the artistic touches from Margarita herself. A huge bonus for us was for 4 gorgeous dogs but they're so well trained that if you're not a dog lover, they wouldn't bother you either!

Margarita is the best host we've ever had. Beautifull person inside and out. When you need help, she is there. Also the dogs are very cute. We stayed for 5 nights and it felled like we were the best neighbours. We feeled very welcome and the kitchen had everything you need to make 2 or 3 meals a day (you can do groceries in small shops in Dibulla and we also went to a bigger supermarket in an other town). Best stay of our trip!
