I stayed at Hotel Splendid in Diano Marina for 12 days in October and had a wonderful experience. My room was spacious, even though I was traveling alone, and spotlessly clean. The view from the window was beautiful, overlooking the mountains. The bed was very comfortable with a soft down duvet, and the bathroom was modern and tidy. Breakfast was delicious, and it was nice to have the option to order lunch and dinner separately. I especially appreciated that the food was freshly and healthily prepared. The staff were very kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The Wi-Fi connection worked perfectly in the lobby area, and the hotel’s location is excellent — just a short walk from the sea and convenient for exploring nearby towns. Overall, it’s a lovely place to stay, and I would definitely return!

We loved our large, bright room. The hotel has its own private parking, a private beach with sun loungers and umbrellas, and a swimming pool. Bike rental is included in the room rate. The hotel is conveniently located between Diano Marina and San Bartolomeo al Mare. Ideal for a relaxing family vacation.

The hotel is very nice. Very clean and thoughtful about small details. Reception staff is very helpful. Waitress Anna provided the best service in the restaurant and was taking care of us during our stay, as other staff struggled with the English language. Restaraunt. The lunch and dinner dishes were very tasty. You need to pre-order the main courses the day before, from the menu, which is different every day. The appetizers will be available on a self-service buffet, and the desserts will be served by Waitress from whatever options are available currently from the kitchen. Thanks to Chef for tasty food and deserts! Drinks are not included but reasonably priced. If you do not finish your bottled drink during your meal, the staff will mark it with your room number and store it in a fridge until the next meal service. Breakfast - it's ok, but it could be improved. See comments on "dislike" below. The sea is 50 meters, but to the hotel private beach is 200 meters from the hotel. Sunbeds are numbered and assigned to every room, so you do not have to stress about it. For us, it was a great option! Sunbeds are on the sandy part of the beach, but: The entrance to the sea has a lot of big stones: coral water shoes are a must, otherwise you will struggle to get in and out. There is a bar at the beach. Swimming pool: It's obvious from hotel pictures that it is not huge, but you can always find a space there if needed. Swimming pool open during the day hours, and closed for maintenance on lunch time. The hotel staff constantly check the swimming pool water and close the pool if water quality is not up to standards. It would be great if tourists respect Swimming pool rules and take their outdoor shoes off before entering the swimming pool area. The signs are all over across the pool area, but people ignore them. Room. Our room was 302 in a main building.

Amazing. Very clean, very comfortable. Situated in a quiet are, 1min walk from the beach. The breakfast is really really good, you can also have lunch/dinner at the hotel. All in all, this is a great place to enjoy a holiday or a weekend trip.

I have booked a room at this hotel for a short stay. I must admit that the high quality of service and attention to detail was outstanding. Check-in was super efficient. The room was super clean, immaculate, spacious, but more importantly it was perfect for one person. Here you can find the best amenities. Food is outstanding and fresh. Customer service is genuinely outstanding and super friendly. The staff was simply amazing as they met my expectations, going above and beyond, from the very beginning. I am seriously thinking about booking another room for next year. This place was recommended to me by a friend. I would highly recommend this hotel.
