Wayside is definitely on its way to amazing. Just more maintenance needed in the accommodation and solar for electricity. They also need to replace the utensils and get plates that fit in the microwave. Fab location and staff. The internet was fast enough as I work virtually. I got handed a coconut on my way to the beach and it was delicious! 5 minutes walk to beach, shops and restaurants.

For me and my family it was the perfect stay, felt like home way from home! Its located in a centralised location whereby accessing the beach and other facilities like restaurants & shopping areas is quite easy. The environment itself is quite serene and relaxing. The staff were 110% helpful and friendly which made the stay fantastic. The dog around the premise was also very interactive, escorted me and family every time we exited the compound to ensure we are safe (Not a joke btw)

“Wonderful staff, location, and overall great stay.”

The hotel was wonderful for our needs. We were 11 in two apartments. The location was great and a short walk to the beach plus you could walk to restaurants (we did not). What stood out though was the staff. Aymar the manager is fantastic. She arranged a BBQ and breakfast for our work group (the food was delicious) and she went out of her way to help ensure we all had a good stay. I wish it had been longer! There seemed to be longer term guests and they loved the place too. The internet was good, pool lovely, and the place is clean and comfortable. Again much of this is because of Aymar I think. She's wonderful

We spend 7 nights at wayside Beach Apartment. Even before arrival the host Aymar was very helpful on the phone. We had a very good welcome from here. She personally showed the room and its facilities. The bedroom was very clean and comfy, kitchen well equipped and the pool was perfect for a relaxing afternoon. Aymar was always there to make sure that we were comfortable and she was open to anything we ask. Also the cleaning lady and the other staffs were very nice and helpful. I really recommend this accommodation . You will not regret .

Wayside beach apartments went above and beyond our expectations in every way! Every single member of staff were thoughtful, helpful and kind, especially when assisting me with my disabled mother. The room was absolutely fantastic! Clean, Spacious and comfortable. We wish we had booked to spend longer at wayside beach apartments as the vibe was calm and relaxed and the facilities were great. Easy to get to from the airport and the beach is a 2 minute walk away. Amigo and Bella the dogs kept us company by the pool, which was lovely as I missed my dogs a lot! I will definitely be returning the next time I am in Kenya! Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality!

“In love with this place”

Amazing location, just a short walk and you reach a beautiful part of Diani Beach and a wonderful seaside restaurant nearby (Asha bistro). The accommodation looks exactly like in the photos; the atmosphere feels grounded, peaceful and harmonious, with a sense of authenticity. The interior details seem thoughtfully chosen. We loved the great AC and fan in the room, and the lovely pool view. My boyfriend and I felt incredibly comfortable here and wished we’d had more days to stay. The area is close to good restaurants and clubs, and it’s very easy to get around using Bolt, tuk tuk or boda boda. Our host, Aymar, gave us great recommendations for places to visit. We would love to come back! Highly, highly recommend

Communication was seamless — they responded quickly to every message and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The space itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described (if not better!). The facilities were top-notch — comfortable bed, great Wi-Fi, and all the little touches that made it feel like home. Room service and cleanliness were impeccable; everything was refreshed daily and maintained to a very high standard. I especially appreciated the thoughtful details — from local snacks and drinks to helpful tips about the neighborhood.
