“Excellent location for an unplugged restorative time away from the city”

- The manager, Peter, was very warm and came outside to the cab to greet and welcome me on arrival. - The team is overall very attentive and gives personalised attention to you: you have assigned staff who regularly update you on who will take care of you and when handover is expected. This is for housekeepers, waiters/waitresses and the people who are stationed at the reception desk. - It was a perfect location for a solo vacation as well. I felt safe and not overwhelmed by the hotel because of its size, you feel like you are experiencing the property on your own with little mixing with other visitors. - A perfect location for a no itinerary holiday where you swim, eat, sleep and rest. - I loved the non alcoholic iced dawas. - Julius made great recommendations for dinner & I enjoyed everything he recommended. - The beach is right by the property with day beds that are well covered to lounge in for hours on end with a great view of the ocean.

Staying in Waterlovers is like becoming a member of their family. I have travelled a lot but never experienced such a care and positivity from the staff side, it’s a genuine connection not just an excellent service. Everyting was terrific: the pool, beach, breakfast, villa we stayed, coctails… our 7 and 9 years boys felt themselves like at home ordering their food and drinks themselves, we didn’t have to assist them even though their mother tongue isn’t English. “Perfect place to relax after safaris. Just great”

There´s no simple words to describe the feeling you get as soon as you cross the gate. There´s a very well thought atmosphere of chill and kindness as soon as they tell you that u won´t need shoes or flipflops anymore :) . The suites are designed to the last level of detail to make you feel confortable, the staff is super friendly and food was the best we tried after 10 days in Kenya. The getaway location is super convenient, just 3 minutes away from the airport. The relaxed ambient makes u stay in full calm, not wanting to go anywhere else. The check out process is also great letting you stay around until the afternoon flight. I would recomend this spot to anyone willing to have a little break from safaris. Looking forward to come back in the future, and thank you very much for making our vacation even more special.

When we asked through the gates we found a little place of paradise. Relaxed atmosphere, staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you to make your stay special. Beautiful location on Diani beach with access to beach. Room was beautiful with a four poster bed. Cool beach bar, Lots of little touches to make you feel at home. Peter and his team were fabulous in looking after us.

We were visiting Waterlovers on our honeymoon. We loved the boutique size and great location. The property is stunning and beautifully designed for relaxing beachfront. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and you can tell that the management create a motivating great work environment. The manager Peter was super welcoming and also very helpful when we had an issue with our safari, taking all steps to sort it for us.

“A truly beautiful and memorable stay”

The staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel at home right away. I had forgotten to put in my booking that we had our 1 year old daughter with us and the staff were not fazed at all. We arrived very late but they had thought ahead to ask the driver who collected us from Mombasa to take our order for dinner so there was food for us when we arrived even though the kitchen had closed. The hotel is really beautiful and has an amazing view of the sea. The way the sunbeds and pool is laid out it feels like you are on the beach without actually being on the beach. If you wish to get in the sea it is just down some steps. The staff helped us with all encounters with the hawkers on the beach. It is definitely the most beautiful of the resorts in the area that we saw online and in real life when we explored the area. It looks exactly like the pictures which I have found is not always the case with hotels on booking.com. The food was really good and was much better than what we had been eating on safari and in Nairobi. The highlights were the prawns and tuna. We would have enjoyed a little more variety and African influenced food on the menu but there were daily specials which hit the spot. The staff did seem a little hurt when we had dinner out one night (there's a really good Korean restaurant just at the end of the driveway to the hotel). As the hotel is so small it is understandable that they would want you to eat/spend money with them rather than elsewhere.

This place is so serene and peaceful, you relax the moment you step in. Service is impeccable and the staff really are what makes the experience outstanding. Food is really good and the view from the balconies is incredible. Can’t recommend this place enough!

The place is amazing!!! They room as super well decorated with african art. Bed is huge. The room has a huge terrasse with a view towards the beach. The wash room is amazing. It has robes, beach bags, the stone shower is amazing. The hotel has a changing room close to the beach with a shower so you can shower there. The free breakfast is super good and they also offer free snack in the evening. The staff is really really nice. When u leave they offer you a keychain.
