Overview
Set in a garden on a white and sandy beach, Jacaranda Indian Ocean Beach Resort offers accommodation in Diani Beach and 9 km from Ukunda Airstrip. The makuti-roofed rooms are fitted with local furniture, minibar, tea-and-coffee making facilities and en-suite bathroom. Some of them have sea view. The beds are draped with a mosquito net. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and there is a snack bar located by the pool. Cocktails and drinks can be enjoyed at several bars. “Was ok, not not for a business trip”
The WiFi is terrible and keeps going of and on The transportation to and from Mombasa was very expense and then they get upset as they want more money

The friendly and helpful staff were the highlight of our stay. We especially enjoyed the evening entertainment and dance shows, which our children loved. The intern waiters were professional, attentive, and always willing to help. The resort also offers good value for money compared to many beachfront resorts in Diani, making it an affordable option for families.

“Great value for money with lovely beachfront.”
The best beachfront I’ve stayed in. I have stayed in a few beachfronts on the Kenyan coast and this was my favorite. Amazing food, lovely scenery, entertainment every night and very welcoming and helpful staff. The property itself is not that new but its very well maintained. The greenery around the hotels rooms combined with well maintained lawns was a bonus. The beachfront room was really good with direct access to the beach. I will be definitely stay here the next i am in Diani.

They mean business when they say Beachfront. Our room was a literal stone throw away from the beach, 0 obstructions. The stuff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was massive and probably the most comfortable I've experienced in a hotel. The location also perfect, less than 30 minutes away from the airport, and easy access to most places by Uber or tuktuk.

I liked the beachfront property and the spacious room provided. The staff were polite and talkative. The breakfast was comprehensive and well prepared.

Beautiful resort gardens, amazing beach with a long and wide sandy coast, good service, and beautiful thatched cottages. Beach front cottages were really amazing- truly waking up right in front of the ocean.

“Good value for money”
Excellent location, good environment (lot of huge biobab tress) with good traditional cottage with beach front views! Very good breakfast and buffet dinner/lunch! Staffs were very supportive and cordial! Altogether very good value for money compared to other costly resorts nearby.

“Lovely place”
We had a lovely stay at this beach hotel in Mombasa. The hotel has beautiful scenery and a very relaxing atmosphere, making it a great place to unwind. We stayed in a cottage which was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with air conditioning, making our stay very pleasant. The hotel also has direct beach access and a sizable swimming pool, both of which we really enjoyed. One of the highlights of our stay was the jungle dinner experience. Although we did not dine at the hotel that particular night and only went for drinks, the atmosphere was wonderful and made for a memorable evening. The food at the restaurant, including breakfast, was okay overall, though we feel the menu could be improved by regularly including more Swahili dishes for guests to enjoy local cuisine. The staff members were alright and helpful when needed, and overall, we loved the atmosphere of the hotel. Considering the experience, facilities, and location, it offered very good value for money. We would happily visit again.
