Great place to stay in Namobuddha with nice food and only a short walk to the Monastery. You have amazing views right from the home stay. Great location for hiking as well.

“A grounding experience”

Its very close to the Namobuddha Monastery and so ideal to explore the pilgrimage site and surrounding villages while being attuned to local life. The room is simple and comfortable. The view to the monastery is amazing. There is a wonderful terrace where you can enjoy homecooked meals.

I loved the location, right opposite namobuddha. Ian was a great host, telling us all about the area and took us on a hike through the villages. Food was great.

We stayed for four nights at Namaste Homestay and had a great time! The family is lovely and the host is very helpful. He can give you suggestions about what to do in the area; there’s a really big monastery you can visit. We could even watch the morning prayer of the monks, which was quite interesting. Also you can do some nice hikes in the area. The owners of the homestay also have a foundation, that provides some of the surrounding villages with running water. One day we went on a walk with the host and he showed as details about the project and explained a lot. It was always nice talking to him. Last but not least the self cooked food was always amazing! So if you want to spend some days in a wonderful homestay in some quiet but very interesting area not too far from Kathmandu, you found the perfect place! You can reach it by bus; you just have to change busses in Banepa or take a cab from there.

Prem is an excellent host, he speaks perfect English, and with his family we could not have had a better experience. They were so warm hearted, helpful and kind, nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed his cooking too!

A beautifully located ,comfortable and clean located accommodation just a 15mn walk away from the Namobudda Gompa. A lovely family and wonderful immersive experience in this beautiful and rural part of the KTM region. Ideal stop as you.hile from Nagarkot to Dhulikhel, Namobudda and finish in Panauti. I ll come back . Ian, a schottish friend of the family is involved in a small charity which helps bringing pipe and running water the many poor villages around still not on the water network. Very interesting and useful. I loved my stay at Namaste and hope to return one day as the nearby Gompa is also a marvelous place worthy of everyone interest.

“Unexplored natural beauty and the warmest welcome”

Laso! Namaste Homestay is a must visit when in Nepal! Ian and Prem have created something really unique, the homestay is tied to a charity, started by Ian, that is installing pipelines in the neighbouring villages. Ian was kind enough to take me on a sweaty day hike to the village and give a lot of insight into this part of the country. The homestay itself is lovely, perched on the hillside, the sound of the monks chanting echoes over the valley onto the terrace, where you can sit and eat the excellent food cooked by Prem

I really enjoyed my stay to NAMASTE homestay. It is in a beautiful location in nature with great views. It is simple and comfortable. Eve and her kids are very kind, warm and welcoming and it was lovely to meet them! Also the Namobuddha monastery is not far so I had the opportunity to follow the activities of the monks and enjoy the ambience of the monastery.

“Peaceful Namobuddha”

If you're looking for a peaceful place in Namobuddha, just steps away from the monastery, Namaste Homestay is the perfect spot! We spent two days in this wonderful place with a beautiful crew, surrounded by local people, amazing landscapes and immersed in the spiritual life of the monastery. (There are three open meditation sessions daily, and it's easy to join in.) During our visit, we had the chance to take an off-the-map trek and discover the authentic everyday life of Nepali and Tamang communities. Prims and Ian (owners of the homestay) are also involved in powerful social projects in the valley, which we had the chance to witness up close.

Lovely vibe with an amazing family running their own hotel stay. Kind and considerate extra touches. Helped us navigate our connections with local bus hops back to Boudinath. Super helpful! Relaxing atmosphere, great roof terrace with views. Delicious homemade food. Seriously delicious! Clean comfortable rooms and a chance to hear about local charity that supports local villages to access clean water supplies. 20 minutes easy walk to the Monastery.

“A fresh, clean, happy and loving mountain heaven”

I loved absolutely everything about my stay! After the hustle and bustle of the main locations in Nepal, coming to Namaste Homestay made my heart sing. the view from the room was amazing and the fresh mountain air just made so happy! Every morning i would wake up super early and look at the scenery changing from dawn to day, it was like experiencing heaven! there is a little garden where you can sit, eat, read a book and sip a cup of tea. They grow their own vegetables and herbs and it feels so good to sit in peace there. The owners are amazing good people, and when i couldn’t find a ride to go back towards Kathmandu, they gave me a moto ride to the closest town. They have a lovely family and there are always kids around that will definitely steal you a smile or a laugh or a little play! The wifi works very well. Namobuddha is reachable by an easy walk and everyone is lovely around the village. What a gem! Definitely recommended Thank you again, so much love, i will come back!
